Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. This movie was centered around Patch and his struggle to stand out in his large family. This was evident when he tried to get some food during dinner time and the other pups didn't notice him trying to get some. As he looked for a little bite to eat, he missed out on something that he had tried to save. What did Patch try to save?

Answer: his spot in front of the T.V.

Patch was worried that he wasn't one of a kind. He tried to save his spot in front of the T.V. because it was the best spot to watch his favorite show. When it was time to eat, poor Patch couldn't even get one piece of food and on top of that, he lost his spot in front of the television.
2. During the family's move to the countryside Patch got left behind. Instead of following the moving truck, he followed a Kanine Krunchies truck to see his hero from his favorite television show. What was the name of his hero?

Answer: Thunderbolt

All the Dalmatian puppies liked watching Thunderbolt. This was the same show that they watched in the first animated movie. After the show ended, there was a commercial that said that Thunderbolt would be in London and, in order to find him they would need to follow a Kanine Krunchies truck. Since Patch was a big fan of his, he really wanted to see Thunderbolt but Pongo said that they would be moving the next day and would not be able to go.

When Patch accidently got left behind he followed a Kanine Krunchies truck because he thought no one would miss him and he could see his hero, Thunderbolt.
3. Patch wanted to be a one of a kind dog just like his hero. But when he tried to do his hero's signature bark, it came out sounding funny and, because of that noise, Patch's hero gave him a nickname. What was the nickname?

Answer: Squeaky Toy

Little Patch tried so hard to sound like Thunderbolt, but being only a puppy, his bark sounded like a little squeaky toy. When Patch found Thunderbolt, there was an audition going on for a dog to join Thunderbolt on his show. When it was Patch's turn to bark, he got nervous and everyone heard his squeaky little bark. Thunderbolt laughed and said, "Hey, who sat on the squeaky toy?" A little later Thunderbolt refered to Patch by this nickname, but it was to himself.

At the end of the movie his bark grew stronger and it sounded better.
4. Patch and his hero spent the day doing heroic deeds together. One of their deeds was saving two British guards from something eating their heads, but really it was just their hats and they were not in any danger. What did they think that the hats were?

Answer: badgers

When Patch and Thunderbolt saw the British guards, they thought that they were in danger. Patch said that they were not moving because they were frozen with fear. Thunderbolt replied that deranged badgers were trying to eat their heads. Their big, fuzzy hats apparently looked like badgers to them. Their other deeds were the same, no one was ever in danger or needed to be saved.
5. Cruella captured the puppies again to try and make her coat again. Patch and his hero tried to rescue them but they were captured too. That was when his hero explained to him that he was not a real hero but a T.V. actor and he was only helping his family so he could get one thing. What was that thing?

Answer: his picture in the paper

That part was sad; Patch did not even want to look at his hero anymore. Thunderbolt thought that if he saved Patch's family, he would for sure get his picture in the paper.
6. Patch's hero felt bad about what he had done, but he did not think that he could help him. Patch felt bad too, he felt that the whole thing was his fault. Which one of his siblings did Patch talk to through the cage and apologize to?

Answer: Lucky

We knew that puppy was Lucky because Patch referred to him as such when he said, "I'm sorry Lucky, this is all my fault." Lucky then gave Patch his idea on how to escape by reminding him of their favorite T.V. show.
7. Patch was able to escape from the cage and got his brothers and sisters out as well. In order to escape they had to go through a window that was very high, in order to reach it Patch made a trampoline out of a canvas. The first puppy was nervous and had to be pushed by Patch but then wanted to do it again. Who was that puppy?

Answer: Rolly

He mentioned him by name too; before Patch pushed him onto the makeshift trampoline he said, "Ready Rolly?" he was afraid to jump but when he did he said, "Can I do that again!?"
8. All the puppies got out of the building but they still had to get away. Patch had an idea of borrowing a certain type of vehicle so that all the puppies could escape. What type of vehicle did the puppies take?

Answer: a double decker bus

Patch found the bus parked outside of the building that they were trying to escape from. All of the puppies climbed onto the bus while Patch drove; while the bus was driving away, we saw the bus driver start to chase after it.
9. Patch drove the vehicle into an alley and hit a dead end. He told the other puppies to climb through windows to get away while he distracted Cruella. Cruella was about to get Patch until someone arrived just in time to help him. Who was that?

Answer: his hero

Thunderbolt got there just in time to help Patch. Even though he was not a real hero he wanted to help Patch and Patch was no longer upset with him. Thunderbolt pretended to be dying and he would move around in a dramatic way so that when Cruella would try to hit him, but she ended up hitting Horace and Jasper and everything else.

This gave Patch the time to put the bus in reverse so it rolled towards them causing them to flee.
10. At the end of the movie the puppies were reunited with their parents and Roger and Anita. Pongo told Patch that they missed him very much and never thought of him as one of one hundred and one. All the puppies told Pongo and Perdy about how Patch saved them and his hero called him something very special. What did Patch's hero call him?

Answer: A Real One of a Kind Wonder Dog

Thunderbolt said that he only played a hero, but he said that Patch was a real one of a kind wonder dog because he saved his family and he never gave up. I thought that was the perfect ending to such a cute movie. Patch finally felt like he was one of a kind.
