Answer: Mel Gibson

In 1995, Mel Gibson won an Academy Award for Best Director for the movie "Braveheart". Though commonly thought of as an Australian actor, Mel Gibson was born in Peekskill, NY and later moved to New South Wales, Australia. He has been in over 40 movies dating back to 1976.

2. Which actor has had roles in "Forever Young" (92), "The Faculty" (98), and "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" (02)?

Answer: Elijah Wood

In the 1992 release "Forever Young", then 11 year old, Elijah Wood shared the screen with Mel Gibson. Wood's character freed Mel Gibson from the cryogenic chamber he had been frozen in since 1939. Wood heard that "The Lord of the Rings" was going to be a movie, and auditioned feeling that it was "the role of a lifetime".

3. Which actor had roles in the following movies "40 Days and 40 Nights" (02), "Halloween: H2O" (98), and "O" (01)?
