Garcia, who is the son of the great Gabriel Garcia Marquez, weaves nine tales that offer life lessons. With brilliant performances from the entire cast, "Nine Lives" is worth the watch.

Answer: Stories of Lost Souls

This film is a collection of six vignettes on loneliness, courage and redemption. It features an impressive cast and it is helmed by seven different directors. In "Bangers", a woman (Blanchett) is slowly losing her grip with reality. The tale of a seductress (Knightley) is depicted in "New Year's Eve". An alcoholic father (Gandolfini) is the focus of "A Whole New Day". "Euston Road" is the story of a swindler (Bettany), while "Sniper 470" revolves around a sniper (Boyd) on a mission to outerspace. "Standing Room Only" tells of four people (Jackman, Mastrantonio, Gambon and Lumley), who are awaiting for a performance.

Answer: Deconstructing Harry

"Deconstructing Harry" focuses on the story of Harry Block (Allen), a middle age novelist who is receiving a lifetime achievement award. Along the way, an assortment of characters who affect Harry's life are introduced, from his former sister-in-law (Davis) to his new girlfriend (Shue).

A film from Robert Altman, "Dr. T and the Women" centers on Dr. Sullivan Travis (Gere), a gynecologist, and his relationships with women. His seemingly perfect life is soon disturbed when his wife (Fawcett) is committed to a psychiatric hospital. Meanwhile, his daughter (Hudson) is tying the knot, even if she is actually in love with the maid of honor (Tyler).

Answer: The House of the Spirits

From director Bille August, "The House of the Spirits" is a searing adaptation of Isabel Allende's novel of the same title. Set in a tumultuous South American country before World War II, the film traces the rise and fall of the Trueba family. It begins with the the feared, self-made patriarch, Esteban Trueba (Irons), and his lonely wife Clara (Streep) moves to their daughter, Blanca (Ryder), who has fallen in love with a revolutionary, Pedro Garcia (Banderas). "The House of the Spirits" is a sweeping tale of love and redemption.

Answer: Infamous

"Infamous" is another take on Truman Capote and the events surrounding his writing of "In Cold Blood". Bullock takes on the role previously played by Catherine Keener in the Oscar-nominated "Capote", while Toby Jones is the film's answer to Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman. "James Bond", Daniel Craig, also stars.

Answer: Short Cuts

Yet another all-star cast film from ace director Robert Altman, this masterpiece is a collection of twelve stories woven together to form a cohesive and satisfying film. "Short Cuts" follows the lives of 22 characters in Los Angeles. An unfaithful cop (Robbins), a mistress (McDormand), a suffering waitress (Tomlin), a successful doctor (Modine), and a guilty wife (Moore) are only some of the characters that populate this beautifully made film.

Answer: A Prairie Home Companion

Robert Altman once again gathers some of the best performers in this musical-comedy. The film traces the events at the backstage of the broadcast of a radio show, "The Prairie Home Companion". Unknown to the show's host and its guests, the broadcast is actually its last.
Lindsay Lohan also stars.

Actor Emilio Estevez directs this dramatic film about the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and the 22 people who were staying at the hotel where he was killed.
Set a few hours before the assassination, a group of people are caught in the frenzy of the hotel's preparation for Kennedy's arrival. Among those in the hotel are a hotel hairdresser (Stone) and her philandering husband (Macy), a retired doorman (Hopkins), an alcoholic singer (Moore), and a drug dealer (Kutcher).
