1. What was the name of the school principal who was at the school during both Marty and his parents' school days?

Answer: Strickland

Marty sees Strickland in the school when he goes with Doc Brown in search of his parents. He comments that Strickland doesn't have hair even back in 1955.

2. Where did Doc Brown get the plutonium which he uses to power the time machine?

Answer: Libyans

The Libyans want a bomb in exchange for their plutonium but Doc gives them "a shoddy bomb casing full of used pinball machine parts". This causes them to come and find him at the mall when he is there demonstrating the time machine to Marty.

3. What street does Doc Brown live on?

Answer: Riverside Drive

Doc Brown used to have a large house with an estate attached, however, over the course of his experiments he has had to sell bits off for financial reasons. By 1985, he lives in what used to be the garage. Marty does not know where to find Doc in 1955 as street names have been changed.

4. Lorraine Baines/McFly is played by Elizabeth Shue.

Answer: False

Lorraine was played by Lea Thompson. Elizabeth Shue took over from Claudia Wells to play Jennifer in the second film in the trilogy.
When Lorraine is young in 1955, she drinks, smokes and is somewhat promiscuous much to Marty's surprise. At the beginning of the film, she says that she never led a boy on when she was a teenager.

5. Which of these does Marty NOT order in Lou's cafe?

Answer: Black Coffee

Although he ends up with a black coffee, Marty does not actually specifically order this. He asks for a Tab and a Pepsi Free which causes confusion for Lou as these drinks were not around in 1955. Finally after ordering "something without any sugar" Lou gives him a coffee.

6. What is the middle initial in Doc Brown's name?

Answer: L

On the side of Doc Brown's lorry, it says that his name is Doc Emmett L. Brown. No middle name was ever given to Doc Brown.

The family have just bought their first television and are watching it as they eat their dinner. Marty remarks that he has seen the episode that they are watching before in a rerun, but the Baines family have no idea what a rerun actually is!
