The basic plot is about a caretaker from a summer camp who got severely burned. The caretaker later returned to the camp and went on a killing spree in his attempt for revenge against the one who had accidentally burned him.

Kevin Bacon played a role, in which he was stabbed in the throat, in the 1980 film "Friday the 13th".

There is another parasite, kept in a silver container, which they had to destroy before it got loose and multiplied. Charles Band directed the film. Alan J. Adler and Frank Levering wrote the story.

Michelle Williams was 15 years old when she got a part in "Species" (1995). Her part was that of the three month old character, young Sil.

"Phenomena (Creepers)" (1985) was a good starting point for the then 15 year old Jennifer Connelly. She was a student who could communicate with insects while sleepwalking.
