Challenging "Jumanji" Trivia Quiz

At the beginning of the movie, Caleb and Benjamin bury Jumanji to try to get rid of it. They seem terrified of it, whatever it did to them. At one point, Benjamin falls into the pit with the game and shouts,"Caleb, it's after me!" Caleb tells him they have to get rid of it, and nobody finds it until Alan in 1969.

Aunt Nora is upset about having to see Judy's principal after their first day of school, and suggests that they talk about something else. Judy proceeds to tell her about what the exterminator said about Alan Parrish's history. Aunt Nora thinks it's a lie and grounds her. During Judy's "lie," you can see Aunt Nora eating carrots.

Alan, Judy, and Peter need Sarah Whittle to help them finish the game. When Alan tries to bring it up, Sarah freaks out and tells him that she has spent 2000 hours in therapy convincing herself that Jumanji doesn't exist. Alan finally tricks Sarah into rolling the dice, forcing her to continue playing.

In Alan's childhood, he is picked on by Billy Jessup and four other boys because he is rich and he is friends with Billy's girlfriend. Alan "runs to Daddy," and his father tells him to face his fears. Not until his mother tells him, does Alan's father find out that it wasn't just Billy Jessup picking on Alan.

Then, Alan's father tells him that he's ready to go to Cliffside School for Boys, and Alan doesn't want to go.

When his parents are about to leave for an award ceremony and are telling Alan about Cliffside, Alan is eating dinner. He gets angry at his parents and abandons his dinner to run away.

When Aunt Nora is asking Judy and Peter whether she should take them to school or let them ride the bus, Peter is finishing his toast. You can catch a glimpse of red jam on it if you look closely.

I counted, starting from the very first animals. First, a few monkeys come in, then two rhinos burst through the wall, then two zebras, and then one elephant. The next clip shows all of the animals swirling around. You have to watch closely or you'll miss it!

Answer: Sir Sav-A-Lot

Peter is trying to hide from Van Pelt, who is trying to get the game back. He takes refuge in a nearby car. An elephant from the stampede turns Peter's temporary sanctuary into a big pile of metal, and traps a terrified Peter in the front seat. Peter becomes pretty much helpless at this point, and Van Pelt steals the game back. We see him walk into a store in an attempt to hide, and we see the letters Sir Sav-A-Lot above the doors.

Answer: purple

Peter is very smart and sets booby traps for Van Pelt to slow him down in Sir Sav A Lot. He drags a boat across the store that has apparently been advertising canoes, and the mannequin inside it is wearing a purple lifejacket.
