1. The Empire started out in the brain of a Sith Lord, who went by the name Palpatine. He was called the Emperor in the original three episodes. What was the proper name of this Sith?

Answer: Darth Sidious

Sidious was mentioned in all six movies, and his identity was kept secret until "Episode III". He was a senator from Naboo, and then was elected Supreme Chancellor of the Republic, in "Episode I", to replace Chancellor Valorum.

2. The basis for the Empire's army was an army of clones, originally built for the Republic. From what planet did these clones come?

Answer: Kamino

Obi-Wan Kenobi found the Kaminoan cloners working on the army in "Episode II". They made their grand entrance to save the Jedi on Geonosis and then drove the Separatist droids off the planet. Coruscant was the capital of the Republic, and Cloninium is not real.

Answer: Commander Cody

Cody was helping Obi-Wan capture the Separatist planet of Utapau. We hear his name when Obi-Wan orders him to attack the levels of a sinkhole. Cody then received Order 66 and ordered an artillery shot on Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan survived the shot, which made him land in a pool of water.

Just prior to Order 66, Palpatine moved to create the Galactic Empire and the Senate wholeheartedly approved. Senators Bali Organa, Mon Mothma, and Padme Amidala were conspicuous standouts.

After issuing Order 66, hundreds of Jedi were mown down by clones all over the galaxy. Yoda and Obi-Wan were among the few to survive.

Answer: Dagobah

Dagobah is especially featured in "Episode V", when Yoda trains Luke Skywalker in the ways of the Force. Luke also comes back in "Episode VI", just in time to see Yoda before he passes away.

The Empire, during this period, tried to destroy all the Jedi who were left. Yoda and Obi-Wan went into hermitage on Dagobah and Tatooine, respectively. All the while, Luke and Leia were being raised by adoptive families, setting the stage for "Episode IV".

Captain Raymus Antilles was a ship commander for Senator Bail Organa, and he was very loyal to Princess Leia. He captained the Tantive IV (the diplomatic ship) in "Episodes III and IV". He is no relation to Wedge Antilles.

Antilles was unfortunately choked to death by Darth Vader when the Empire took over the ship. Fortunately, two droids named R2-D2 and C-3PO escaped in an escape pod to the surface of Tatooine. Princess Leia was captured and imprisoned in the Death Star.

Answer: Smuggled goods past the Empire

Han worked for the gangster Jabba the Hutt, among others, and he and his co-pilot, the Wookiee Chewbacca, flew the Millennium Falcon past blockades all over the galaxy. By this time, Han had run up a large debt to Jabba, and tried to make more money by taking Obi-Wan, Luke, C-3PO, and R2-D2 to Alderaan.

In the first Death Star battle, Han enabled Luke to put a torpedo down the pipe in the trench on the Death Star, leading to its destruction. Luke and Han were honored as heroes by the Alliance and given medals. Vader escaped, however, and was soon leading another attack on the fledgling Rebel Alliance.

The main AT-AT destroyed the shield generator, enabling the rest of the troops to storm (no pun intended) the base. The Alliance made their getaway, however, covered by an ion cannon that was deployed on the surface.

Answer: Bespin

Bespin is a planet with cities built on tall structures in the clouds (hence the name of the city).

Luke loses to Vader and his hand is cut off. He is saved by Lando and Leia who fly by and pick him up in the Millennium Falcon. Atzerri and Corulag are other planets in the Star Wars universe. Cloud 9 is... well... Cloud 9.

Answer: A damaged Rebel fighter rammed the bridge

The Super Star Destroyer was destroyed when a severely damaged A-Wing crashed into the Star Destroyer's bridge. The ship then plunged into the Death Star, killing all aboard.

Han and Leia took a Rebel strike team to the planet and successfully destroyed the shield generator, which allowed the Rebel fleet to attack the Death Star. Luke was captured by Vader, setting up a final confrontation between Luke, Vader, and Emperor Palpatine.

Answer: Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Anakin

Yoda, Obi-Wan and Anakin were displayed as smiling at the celebration of Ewoks and Rebels on Endor. Anakin, in the original movie is displayed as an old man, but in the newer version, he is played by the Anakin from "Episode III". Thanks for playing!
