They didn't divorce, they just separated because Charles cheated on her.

He hates her, and has hated her since Elizabeth's childhood, because she was always angry whenever Elizabeth and Fred did fun things like make a mudpie.

3. Who played Elizabeth's best friend?

Answer: Carrie Fisher

Carrie Fisher played Elizabeth's best friend in "Drop Dead Fred", she also starred in the original "Star Wars" films.

During the movie he always wears green. At the start it's just light green but during the party, near the end of the movie, he wears a dark green shirt.
