The 2006 re-make, which was released December 25 of 2006, has two killers. This gives the two films a bit of a different story.

In this 1974 version, some sorority girls are being terrorized and murdered by someone who is hiding out in the house and making prank phone calls to scare them. This version is creepier than the re-make, in my opinion.

Debbie Rochon plays the role of Raven Quinn, an erotic star of b-horror films. She winds up being stalked by an insane man who thinks he's Santa Claus. What causes him to believe he's Santa was an incident years earlier when he found his mother and her lover, who was wearing a Santa hat, being intimate. This made him upset, and caused him to shoot them both dead.

An initiation stunt that goes terribly wrong and causes death to one of the sorority girls at Calvin Finishing School is the reason for murder in this 1980 horror film. Two killers dress as Santa and get revenge years later by going on a killing spree at the school.

Louise Lasser stars in this film as the mother of twin brothers named Terry and Todd. When one of the twins decides to murder someone at the drive-in theatre, the other gets blamed and is sent away to an insane asylum for many years. When he escapes on Thanksgiving day and makes his way home, several people wind up meeting their demise in very gruesome ways.

LAPD Officer Frank Talbot finds himself in a difficult situation. After learning that his work partner and wife have fallen in love and want to be together, he decides to leave them both. Only problem is that there winds up being an outbreak of zombies roaming the city.

He winds up staying to help them fight against the walking corpses. The title of this film is an obvious similarity to the 1984 slasher, 'Silent Night, Deadly Night'. Felissa Rose is the actress who stars as Angela in the cult horror film, 'Sleepaway Camp'.

A group of dumb college students are stalked and killed off by a cursed talking turkey during holiday break. This b-rated gem is great for laughs, especially the part where the turkey tries to disguise himself as the father of one of the girls... and she actually believes it's her father!

Answer: Jack Frost

A serial killer ironically named Jack Frost winds up becoming a killer snowman due to a strange accident. The truck that he was being transported to his execution in crashes into another truck carrying genetic material. This causes his body to fuse together with the snow after the trucks crashed, hence turning him into a talking killer snowman.

This horror comedy is not to be confused with another film of the same name that stars Michael Keaton.

Answer: Home Sweet Home

Jake Steinfeld plays a killer who escapes from a mental hospital, steals a station wagon, and heads over to the Bradley household at Thanksgiving with murder on his mind. In one of the scenes, he viciously runs down a poor old lady crossing the street. Jake Steinfeld is probably best known for his years as a fitness personality.

His fitness equipment and TV show were both called, 'Body by Jake'.
