Answer: Antonia Graza

The Antonia Graza is not a real ship, it is made up just for the movie. However, it is based on the Italian cruise ship Andrea Doria that sank in 1956 after colliding with another cruise ship, the MS Stockholm.
Endeavour was a bark captained by James Cook, especially known for being the first vessel to reach the Australian west coast. It has been replicated and is berthed by the Australian National Maritime Museum.
Lorelei is not a real ship, but the name refers to a German poem about a woman who lures sailors to their deaths. In the movie the Antonia Graza has rescued a ship named Lorelei and taken a considerable amount of gold onboard.
Proteus was an American collier that was lost at sea to unknown causes. It has been linked to the mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle.

Answer: Shia LaBeouf

Steven Spielberg arranged that Shia LaBeouf was on the shortlist of the casting to "Disturbia" because he liked LaBeouf´s work in the movie "Holes".
5. The voice lowers to an unsettling whisper and wants an answer to: What was the surname of the real ghost hunting couple portrayed by Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson in the 2013 movie "The Conjuring"?

Answer: Warren

Ed and Lorraine Warren were in fact real paranormal investigators who in their time took on more that 10.000 hauntings including the haunted house in Amityville that casted off several horror movies. "The Conjuring" is based upon what they claimed to be the most terrible haunting they ever experienced. Lorraine Warren helped make the movie and also has a small cameo.
6. You´re half way through and five locks has sprung open on the door that leads to the House of Horrors´ next room. Will you get through the last five? The voice suddenly screams at you, it wants to know: In the teen horror flick "Scream" about a ghostfaced killer who stalks young people in the town Woodsboro, one of the murderers has a surname that relates to a character in a classic movie in the same genre. What is this surname?

Answer: Loomis

Doctor Sam Loomis is the old guy that shot Michael Myers in the movie "Halloween" from 1978. That´s where Billy Loomis got his surname. "Halloween" was a low budget movie and the highest post on the budget was paying Donald Pleasence´s fee. Pleasence is also well known as Blofeld in the James Bond movie "You Only Live Twice". In "Halloween H20" his voice is brilliantly imitated by actor Tom Kane. No one would guess it wasn´t Pleasence himself.
Sam Loomis was also a character in Alfred Hitchcock´s "Psycho".
7. The voice turns low again as it asks you the seventh question: Which of these answers are NOT correct about Steven Spielberg´s monster movie "Jaws"? In spite of you being held captive, you are suddenly glad you are nowhere near the ocean as you very well remember the movie about the great white shark that preys on the inhabitants of Amity Island.

Answer: "Jaws" was one of the movies Steven Spielberg directed in which he did not have a cameo.

Steven Spielberg actually did have a cameo in "Jaws". It is his voice we hear in Quint's radio when Mrs. Brody tries to contact Chief Brody at The Orca.
Charlton Heston was said to have become so angry with being turned down for the part of Brody, that he swore never to work with Steven Spielberg.
8. Alfred Hitchcock´s movie "Psycho" was based on a real criminal case of which American mass murderer? You frown as you try to figure out which madman gave inspiration to Norman Bates, the owner of Bates Motel where a young lady lost her life taking a shower after dinner. Take your time with this one. It might be the one you fail and your head will roll!

Answer: Ed Gein

The novel "Psycho" was inspired by the American serial killer Ed Gein, who admitted to killing two women and who was found to have robbed several graves and taken macabre trophies that he kept in his home.
9. Tick-tock. The sound of a ticking clock symbolizes the next movie where exactly that sound is a continuing background noise. You guessed correctly, we´re talking about "Rosemary´s Baby". There are many rumours about the film made from Ira Levin´s book about a young woman who is happy to find out she is pregnant only to get caught in the claws of a satanic cult. Now the voice wants to know which of the following statements about the movie is NOT correct:

Answer: The voice of Donald Baumgart is played by Roman Polanski.

Actually the voice of Donald Baumgart is played by Tony Curtis. When Mia Farrow did the scene where she speaks to him on the phone, she didn´t know it would be Curtis´ voice at the other end. The puzzled look on her face is therefore real as she tries to figure out who it is, which was the exact effect Roman Polanski wanted.
10. And now to the last question, the last lock on the door! Grit your teeth and try to answer the question so you can get one step further towards freedom: Many actors have played the part of bloodsucking Transylvanian vampire Count Dracula who travels to England to snack on Mina Harker . Who played the title role in the 1931 horror movie "Dracula" directed by Tod Browning?

Answer: Bela Lugosi

Bela Lugosi played the part both in the movie and many years on stage. When he died in 1956 he was even buried wearing the silk cape he wore in the film. His line "listen to them, the children of the night, what music they make" was voted 83 out of the 100 best movie quotes by the American Film Institute.
Lon Chaney was meant to play the part of Count Dracula, but he died and the part went to Lugosi.
Dracula means "son of the dragon" and refers to the book of the same name written by Bram Stoker. Stoker was inspired by the Valacian Count Vlad Tepes, who was known to be cruel and blood thirsty. He was son of a member of the Dracul Order (Order of the Dragon), thus the colorful nickname.
