Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Katharine Hepburn took a break from her dramatic roles to star in this light-hearted western. What was the name of her character?

Answer: Eula Goodnight

Hepburn's character was Eula Goodnight, the spinster daughter of a preacher. While living in Indian Territory a ruthless gang of thieves killed her father. Eula teamed up with Marshall Rooster Cogburn, whose drinking and reputation for ignoring the rules had caused him to lose his badge. They joined forces to hunt the criminals down, each for their own reasons.

3. One of the most exciting scenes in this movie involved crossing what type of obstacle?

Answer: Raging river

4. What was the response from Hepburn's character when Rooster asked her age?

Answer: "Shall we say it has already struck midnight?"
