Lauren (Diane Lane), an American girl living in Paris, begins a romance with a young French boy named Daniel (Thelonius Bernard). They meet an older gentleman, Julius (Laurence Olivier), who tells them a story about love lasting forever if a couple kisses under the Bridge of Sighs in Venice, at sunset.

After Lauren finds out that she will be moving back to the States, she and Daniel decide to go to Venice, with Julius accompanying them. The movie was directed by George Roy Hill, and was released in 1979.

Answer: The Little Drummer Girl

Diane Keaton played a pro-Palestinian actress who is recruited by Israeli intelligence and convinced to help them capture a Palestinian terrorist. 1984's "The Little Drummer Girl" was directed by George Roy Hill, and based on the novel by John Le Carre. The movie also starred Klaus Kinski, Yorgo Voyagis and Sami Frey.
