"Roman Holiday" won numerous Academy Awards and some of these were for original story (Ian McLellan Hunter) and Costumes/B and W (Edith Head) in 1953. This movie gave Audrey Hepburn her break and made her name known throughout the world. Her role won her an Oscar for her portrayal of a princess who wants to have a normal life.

In doing so, she meets an American reporter (Gregory Peck) and photographer whom show her the sights of Rome and eventually the reporter falls in love with her. Though Ian McLellan Hunter won the award, in reality Dalton Trumbo wrote the story. Dalton Trumbo was one of the "Hollywood Ten" who was blacklisted for nearly 40 years because he refused to provide the House Un-American Activities Committee names and for his leftist views.

He served time in prison after which he moved to Mexico where he wrote under pseudonyms. "Holiday Inn" (1942) is a musical and romantic movie with Bing Crosby and Fred Astair. Jim Hardy (Crosby) is in love with Linda Mason (Marjorie Reynolds) but Jim Hardy (Astair) vies against him for he wants her as his new dance partner. "White Christmas" is one of the songs that is sung.

The movie "White Christmas" (1954) was a loose remake of "Holiday Inn".
2. Fair ___________ of Death

William Baldwin and Cindy Crawford play the lead roles in "Fair Game" (1995). This is Cindy Crawford's debut movie and she plays a lawyer who is sought by the KGB. Baldwin is a police officer who tries to keep her safe. "Game of Death" (1978) is also known as "Bruce Lee's Game of Death" which is about a movie star who fakes his death to find his intended killers. Apart from Bruce Lee, Gig Young and Hugh O'Brien co-star. Lee died whilst making "Game of Death" and Robert Clouse, the Director, completed this movie six years later.

"Illustrated Man" (1969), which is adapted from a Ray Bradbury novel, stars Rod Steiger who is tattooed and is searching for the woman who did this job. Claire Bloom also acts in this movie. "Man Without a Face" (1993) is Mel Gibson's directorial debut. This movie is about a 12 year old boy who wants to go to a military academy. Mel Gibson (McLeod) had to act in it as he could not find a suitable actor that was willing to play this part.

Alison Hayes and William Hudson act in "Attack of the 50 ft Woman" (1958). This movie is a 50's sci-fi about an alien woman. Darryl Hannah is in the 1993 remake television version. Gene Wilder directed "Woman in Red" (1984) and he acts in it with Kelly LeBrock, Gilda Radner and Charles Grodin.

The musical score is by Stevie Wonder. "Woman in Red" is about a person named Teddy Pierce (Gene Wilder) who is middle-aged and is married with children. Going to work one day he spies a woman dressed in red and becomes infatuated with her. The plot is about Goldberg having to admit to her daughter that she is a product of a sperm bank and at one time during the movie - Ted Danson is thought to be the father. "America America" (1963) is directed by Elia Kazan and Stathis Giallelis is one of the actors.

Rachel Talalay directs the movie and the main actors are Robert Englund and Lisa Zane. Additionally, Alice Cooper, Rosanne, Tom Arnold and Johnny Depp make cameos. "Nightmare in Blood" is a horror film about an actor who pretends to be a vampire and really is.

The director of "Small Soldiers" is Joe Dante and it was his last film before his death. "Soldiers Three" (1951) actors are Stewart Granger, Walter Pidgeon and David Niven. It is set in 19th century India where the above three actors are soldiers that are constantly fighting with each other.

Winona Ryder, Ben Chaplin and Sarah Wynter are the actors in "Lost Souls" (2000). This is Janusz Kaminski's debut in directing. The movie revolves around exocisms, Roman Catholics, Satan, incarnations and the belief that Satan is returning when a man has his birthday. "Souls at Sea" (1937) stars Gary Cooper, George Raft and Frances Dee. A basic story line regarding a ship tragedy and Cooper trying to save lives.
