Answer: Microorganisms

In the 1950s movie "War of the Worlds", the military had tried every kind of bomb they could think of to destroy the Martian spaceships, but nothing worked. At the end of the movie, Martian spaceships began crashing. When the Martians were examined, it was discovered that microorganisms which people were immune to had killed the Martians.

At the end of the 1970s remake of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers", a woman who had been fooling everyone into thinking she had been possessed by the aliens told her friend she was still "normal". However, her friend, along with everyone else, had been possessed by the aliens, so he screeched.
3. In which movie did a corporation invent a beauty product which accidentally created a zombie apocalypse?

Answer: Resident Evil

The Umbrella Corporation scientists were working on a beauty product to stop aging. When the chemical gas got loose, it mutated the scientists into killers and monsters. As the gas continued to spread, dead animals and people were also resurrected and became ravenous zombies. At the end of the movie the gas spread to nearby Raccoon City, and in sequels it spread all over the world.

Years before "War Games", or "Terminator", or "The Matrix", there was a movie called "Colossus: The Forbin Project", in which a computer was hooked up to all the nuclear missiles of the United States, so that it could immediately react to an attack from Russia.

However, the computer took over the Russian computer, so then it controlled all the missiles of the world, and told the people what to do. One time it blew up a city with a nuclear missile to prove what it could do.

At the beginning of "Jason X", the tenth movie about Jason Voorhees, Jason was in a containment pod, but the machete penetrated the outside of the pod, stabbing a woman. The entire room became cold and froze Jason and the woman to prevent Jason from escaping.

The story jumped hundreds of years into the future when some students visited the unpopulated Earth. In the past all of the people had left planet Earth and lived on space stations and other planets. With future technology, the woman and Jason were taken to a spaceship and defrosted.

However, when Jason came back to life, he continued his old habit of murdering people.

Bruce Willis played a man who went back in time to find out who or what was responsible for spreading the deadly illness. When he told people he came from the future, they locked him in a mental institution. Then he disappeared. Years later he met the psychologist again, looking as he had before, and she began to believe he time traveled. Along the way he met a man (Brad Pitt) who led a group called "12 Monkeys" and plotted to break into a lab and release the animals.

After General Ripper went crazy and sent his planes to bomb Russia, the President (Peter Sellers) called a meeting in the War Room to figure out what to do about it. One of his advisers was a German scientist in a wheelchair, Dr. Strangelove (Peter Sellers).

In one scene Sellers was advising Sellers while everyone else stood around listening. When it was discovered that the Russians had a doomsday device which would destroy the surface of the Earth, Strangelove advised the President that the men in the room should find some women and get to an underground bunker to wait until the radiation wore off.

In "Moonraker", Drax had invented a chemical gas which would kill people but not harm any animals. He built a space station where his people could live while he gassed the entire Earth. After the gas wore off, Drax's people's offspring would have returned to Earth to establish a new peaceful civilization, if it weren't for James Bond.

Answer: Dark Star

Years before "Star Wars" John Carpenter directed a movie about people traveling the universe blowing up planets. Dark Star was their spaceship, and they successfully exploded an unstable planet at the beginning of the movie. However, on the way to the next planet, the ship went through an electrical storm in space, which caused malfunctions.

The bomb was ordered by the talking computer to begin the countdown to explode, but it was stuck with the spaceship. The acting captain of the ship had a conversation with the talking bomb.

He tried to convince the bomb to stop its countdown and wait until later to blow up the planet.

Answer: Star Trek: The Motion Picture

In "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" a really big machine which was controlled by a little machine, the Voyager probe, found its way to Earth and decided that "carbon units" (people and animals) infested the Earth. The Voyager probe or V-ger thought that if it came from Earth, Earth must be its creator, and to join with the creator, it had to get rid of the carbon units. Capt. Kirk had to talk the machine out of killing everyone.
