The war was started by Terrance and Phillip, who released a controversial film. Many children saw the film, and they were influenced by its crude behavior and naughty language. Sheila Broflovski was outraged, and tried to ban the film from U.S. theaters. This ended up leading to the Canadians bombing the Baldwin Brothers, and then then-president Bill Clinton declaring war on Canada.

Winona Ryder talked to the troops and showed them her ping-pong ball trick, which was just her sitting down, knocking ping pong balls with a paddle. The other performer was Yippee, the back-flipping dog. A talking cat would not appear until 12 years later, in the episode "Faith Hilling".

Gregory did not know the password, even though it was "La Resistance". He guessed "Bacon", but Kyle let him in anyway. Gregory ends up coming up with a plan to rescue Terrance and Phillip, even though they did not amuse him.

This was sung in the end, after the Canadians and Americans reconciled their differences and ended the war. Jerome "Chef" McElroy sang the first part, while "Good Lordy I'm found" was part of a chorus full of made up characters. The three boys (Stan, Cartman, and Kyle) then walked past them as they get ready for the ending of the song.

Terrance & Phillip were supposed to be executed because they released a controversial film that many American children saw. Sheila realized this at the end of the war, because Kyle told her. The son she forgot was Ike, her adopted son. Instead of Ike being sent to a "Happy Camp" (Concentration Camp), Kyle snuck Ike into their attic, during which Ike ate a mouse and played the harmonica up there.
