Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Once strapped in the black costume and helmet of the Darth Vader we saw in Episodes 4-6, what was/were Darth Vader's first word/s?

Answer: "Yes, Master. Where is Padme?"

The Emperor asked him if Darth Vader could hear him. Darth Vader, after a short pause, replied, "Yes, Master. (pause) Where is Padme? Is she safe? Is she all right?" When the Emperor replied that she was not and that Anakin, in his anger, killed her, Darth Vader at first refused to believe it.

He said that when he last saw her, she was alive. He got so mad, he destroyed things in the room and knocked out the robots. In the end, he yelled "NO!" I have to admit it's pretty weird to hear a supposedly emotionless mechanical voice yell in grief.

A little trivia here, did you know that Hayden Christensen was the one under that costume? They had to use camera tricks to make him seem taller than the Emperor as he appeared in Episodes 4 - 6. Also, note that Darth Vader of this movie is, well, thinner than the more familiar Darth Vader of 4-6.
2. As the murder of all the Jedi Knights commenced, this was the one Jedi who felt it all happening, who knew when Anakin turned to the Dark Side, and knew that Jedi Knights all over the galaxy were slowly being killed. Who was this exceptionally gifted Jedi Master?

Answer: Master Yoda

Master Yoda, the most gifted and most powerful Jedi, felt it every time a Jedi died, and he mourned their passing. Because of this, he was able to escape being killed by the clones under his command. He knew what they were going to do, and attacked them before they attacked him.

He also knew, somehow, without having seen the hologram, that Anakin was responsible for the massacre inside the Jedi Temple.
3. There were two people in the movie who ended up being on fire, who were the two?

Answer: Darth Vader and General Grievous

General Grievous caught fire when Obi-Wan shot his heart; he then died. Darth Vader caught fire when his stumped legs grazed the lava flowing past, which caused him to catch on fire; he didn't die though. Although in great pain, he survived this and continued to live by being suited up in a black suit and helmet. Yoda and Obi-Wan manage to escape the war physically unscathed.

The other Jedi were killed by being shot by the clones, or under Darth Vader's lightsaber hand, which was what happened to the Younglings. Padme died in childbirth, although precipitated by Darth Vader. Mace Windu died from the combination of Force Lightning (thanks Greg84!) and being thrown out the window (thanks Tralfaz) and not by fire.
4. Anakin was given the rank "Master Jedi".

Answer: False

Although permitted to join the Jedi Council at Chancellor Palpatine's request, the Council members didn't given Anakin the title "Master". Anakin thought this was unfair and hated the fact that he wasn't made a Master, when everyone on the Council had always been a Master.

He thought it an insult and proof that the other Jedi didn't trust him. I do wonder why, when Darth Vader is in the Council Chamber about to kill the Younglings, one of the Padawan calls him "Master Skywalker"? Greg84 (thanks!) cleared this one up by telling me that all Padawans call Jedis 'Master' regardless of whether the Jedi is a Council member or not.
5. The Council asked Anakin to do something for them; something that made Anakin uncomfortable; something that he believed was not the Jedi way and was treason against the Republic. What was this distasteful task?

Answer: spying on Palpatine

The Jedi asked Anakin to spy on Palpatine because they didn't trust him. Based on the movie, the other Jedi never knew about Padme and Anakin. Killing off the Jedi Knights and attacking the Jedi Temple was a task Chancellor Palpatine gave to Anakin when Anakin swore to be his Apprentice and became Darth Vader.
6. Mace Windu said that this character was surrounded by the Dark Force. Who was this character?

Answer: Chancellor Palpatine

Weird, isn't it? I know that in Episode II, Mace Windu and Yoda discuss how the Dark Side was clouding their vision of the Force and yet, in this movie, Mace Windu said that Palpatine was surrounded by the Dark Force, and yet didn't make the connection that Palpatine was the Sith Lord that they were all looking for. I wonder why the Jedi couldn't feel that Palpatine was the bad guy, especially Yoda, who was the most gifted of them all.
Thanks to jedifreek1992, I've learned that if a Sith Lord was powerful enough, he could mask his true self :) I guess that's the reason none of the Jedi could sense him.
Also, a little trivia: Samuel L. Jackson knew he was supposed to be killed off in this movie. He told George Lucas that he wanted to die with a bang and not just be easily killed. So he and the Emperor had that great fight before his character finally died.
7. Star Wars fans are most familiar with two certain robots, who have been in the series since the beginning. In this movie, one of them was always included in the action and even had a few cool moves of his own. Who was this diminutive, intelligent robot?

Answer: R2D2

R2D2 and C3PO's actors were the only ones who have been in all six Star Wars movies. In this movie, R2D2 showed off his skill and intelligence as he saved himself from other robots, as well as being of vital assistance to his human masters. I love that robot and what he does! Apparently, he's George Lucas' favourite robot too.
8. Let's talk color for a while. Anakin's eye color seemed to change a bit as he went deeper and deeper into the Dark Side. What color were his eyes after he killed off the Separatist Leaders?

Answer: orange-yellow

Seen in his close-ups, Anakin (Hayden Christensen) had blue eyes. After he killed off the Separatist Leaders, he looked back at the camera with his hood up and partly covering his face. His eyes had a distinctive orange-yellow color.
9. Still in the color theme, in this movie (Episode III) did Anakin ever make a red lightsaber, the color lightsaber that is the mark of the Sith?

Answer: No

Until the end, he used his blue lightsaber. At the end of their fight, Obi-Wan picked up this lightsaber (to be later given to Luke Skywalker in Star Wars 4) and left Darth Vader. Once in his black suit, Darth Vader was never shown using a lightsaber.
(Yes, I know Anakin uses Count Dooku's red lightsaber but Anakin never owned it, nor did he make it, nor was he the real user.)
10. What was the name given by Padme to her daughter?

Answer: Leia

Originally supposed to be Leia Skywalker, Leia was adopted by Senator Organa, so when we next see her in Episode 4-6 as a young lady, she's known as Princess Leia Organa. Although it wasn't explicitly stated in the movie, I assume Senator Organa and his wife lived in Alderaan and not Naboo since, in episode 4, Leia says that's her home planet.
