Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. When Yzma begins to suspect that Kuzco isn't dead after all, Kronk tries to distract her by talking to the royal dresser. He says "I should tell ya right now I'm kinda hard to fit." What are Kronk's measurments? "I wear a(n) __ long and a(n) __ waist."

Answer: 66, 31

Kronk is voiced by Patrick Warburton.
2. The city in "The Emperor's New Groove" is part of the what?

Answer: Inca Empire

The Theme Song Guy first gives a clue when singing the theme song. He says, referring to Kuzco, "An enigma and a mystery in Mesoamerican history, the quintessence of perfection that is he." A few more subtle clues appear in the movie. Kuzco was named after the Incan capital, Cuzco, and Pacha's wife, Chicha, is a ceremonial Incan drink.
3. Just how far is it from the bridge to the palace (with and without the bridge)?

Answer: One hour, four days

When Kuzco hears how long the walk will be, he wants Pacha to carry him.
4. What is on the side of the small bridge from which Kronk drops the bag containing Kuzco (intending to "get rid of the body")?

Answer: A figure eight

For those of you who chose lion, the actual bridge is shaped like a lion, but there isn't a lion on the side.
5. What is on the inside of Yzma's camping tent?

Answer: Pictures of abstract versions of herself

If you want to see freaky abstract versions of Yzma, you'll have to watch closely right when Kronk barges in in the middle of the night.
6. What body parts (in order) does Kronk land on as he falls down the stairs (just after deciding not to kill Kuzco)?

Answer: Back, elbow, shoulder

The easiest way to tell is to listen to Kronk as he falls. For the longest time, I thought he was just saying "Ow, ow, ow!" until I realized he was actually saying "Back, elbow, shoulder!"
7. How many llamas float around Kuzco's head when he gets hit with the frying pan by Chicha?

Answer: Four

After he gets hit, Kuzco says, in a daze, "You have a lovely wife. They're both very pretty."
8. What is Bucky the Squirrel's greeting?

Answer: "Tt geugit bda?"

He says exactly the same thing to Yzma as he says to Kuzco whilst offering an acorn. While Kuzco says "Aww, for me?" Yzma replies "GET AWAY FROM ME!"
His name comes from Kuzco's line: "Hit the road, bucky!" and appears in the credits.
9. Pacha and Kuzco stop to talk to two old peasants when they're running back to Pacha's house. The peasants are playing checkers. The person on the left is red and the person on the right is black.

Answer: True

The guy on the right had a huge stack of captured pieces, which were red. These two guys are also one of the many contributors to the ongoing joke about Yzma being "scary beyond all reason."
10. Pacha and Kuzco are racing Yzma and Kronk back to the palace at one point in the movie. What starts off the chase scene?

Answer: Pacha and Kuzco slide down a hill

All of the options do actually happen in the chase scene. Pacha and Kuzco eventually make it back to the palace, while Yzma and Kronk get struck by lightning and fall off a cliff (yet still beat them to the palace). This scene also contains one of my favorite songs in the movie.
