Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who plays the woman who presents the section in the middle of the film?

Answer: Michael Palin

Yes! It seems to me that both Eric Idle and Michael Palin have a thing for dressing up as woman...Hmmmm! If you need to remember this section, remember the hand coming out of the vase and the person next to it. That person is old Mike! By the middle of the film, I mean, of course, the sketch of the same name.
2. Which colour is in the name of the insurance company that raids the Very Big Corporation of America?

Answer: Crimson

The Crimson Permanent Assurance it is! The crew consists of old men, and a woman who seems to do nothing except make tea for the crew. This is typical Monty Python! The name is only mentioned once in the film, but there is a small featured before the film in videos and DVDs, which is actually called 'The Crimson Permanent Assurance'!
3. Who plays the waiter addressing Mr. Creosote? (The obese man, if you can't remember.)

Answer: John Cleese

John Cleese, putting on a rather good French accent (I think) plays the waiter. To remember this, just think of him treading in the bucket of vomit, and saying, 'Oh dear, I've trodden in Monsieur's bucket'. This is yet another simply excellent Monty Python sketch!
4. During the World War segment, what does the soldier bake for the sergeant?

Answer: A cake

This is while they are getting shot. The people are getting killed off one by one, and they just keep on giving many presents, including clocks (and a watch). The cake was baked as a present for being a good man and sergeant to the ordinary foot soldiers, if I remember correctly.
5. Same World War section, same soldiers - what are the objects that the soldiers give to the sergeant?

Answer: A lot of clocks

The soldiers give him some clocks while getting shot at. The soldiers get highly offended when he says the presents don't matter! This is another typical Python scene in which the sergeant, in the end, decides to set up a table and calmly eat the cake. (The fate of the remaining soldiers is unknown.)
6. What is the religion of the family who sings the 'Every Sperm Is Sacred' song?

Answer: Roman Catholic

The Roman Catholic religion does not allow the use of contraceptives.
Monty Python once again challenges people's views on religion, with this charming little ditty, which should cause offense among Catholics everywhere.
7. Which of the Monty Python crew is in charge of the animation in the film?

Answer: Terry Gilliam

To get the answer, simply look at the end credits for the film. Under the 'Animation' heading, you will find the one and only Terry Gilliam!
My favorite cartoon in particular is the one during the opening credits, which shows a giant monster with a washing line between it's horns!
8. What makes the obese man in the restaurant explode?

Answer: An after dinner mint

This is hilarious, because after he has eaten a mountain of food. The food finally overcomes him and causes him to explode, via an after dinner mint! This is where the fish tank for the first scene is set, in the restaurant where Mr Creosote explodes. That should remind you of the right answer!
9. What costume is the person who announces 'Hello, and welcome to the middle of the film' dressed in?

Answer: An African Zulu outfit

You may have missed this one. If you said lumberjack, I think you are getting mixed up with 'And Now For Something Completely Different', another Monty Python film in which appears the 'Lumberjack' song. Just remember that this scene is set in Africa - that should supply you with the right answer!
10. OK, last question! Which actor plays the school teacher who gives sex education lessons?

Answer: John Cleese

This is probably John Cleese's best part in the film, giving the sex education lessons. It's even more funny because none of the boys really wants to take the lesson.
OK, I hope you enjoyed my first quiz!
