Answer: Halloween town

The door to Halloween town was a very interesting-looking pumpkin. Once through this door, the fantastic song "This is Halloween" played.
2. Jack Skellington was first seen as a ghost.

Answer: False

Jack was in fact first seen as a scarecrow. He set himself on fire, jumped in the fountain, then emerged in his true form. Jack Skellington is the Pumpkin King, but he craves something more.
3. What was the name of the doctor who made Sally?

Answer: Dr. Finkelstein

Dr. Finkelstein got very annoyed when Sally kept sneaking out, so he created himself a girlfriend who would listen to him. Her name was not known, but I called her Bullfrog. Dr. Finkelstein is the man who made Sally out of bone and cloth, just so he would have some company.
4. Dr. Finkelstein was actually Oogie Boogie.

Answer: False

In fact, Oogie Boogie was made out of bugs. In a deleted storyboard, Dr. Finkelstein was Oogie Boogie, but this was cut because it created plot problems.
5. What were the names of the Boogie Boys?

Answer: Lock, Shock and Barrel

One of the Boogie Boys, Shock, was in fact, a girl. If you look really carefully, you can see it is the face of a girl. The Boogie Boys were the little henchmen of Oogie Boogie, and also the world's best trick-or-treaters.
6. Jack Skellington's character was voiced by two people.

The character of Jack Skellington was voiced by two people, Danny Elfman, the composer, supplied the singing voice; and Chris Sarandon was Jack's talking voice.

Ken Page did a fantastic job in portraying Oogie boogie. He later played Deuteronomy in 'Cats'. Oogie Boogie is the evil dude in the film, who loves to gamble.

Jack and Sally were best friends, but they were secretly in love with each other. Sally tried to help Jack by freeing Santa Claus from Oogie Boogie, but she ended up getting caught as well.

Answer: Mr. Hyde

Mr. Hyde was a famous evil dude from the book 'The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde', but in that story, he never had smaller versions of himself.
10. What was the kind of animation used in this film?

Answer: Stop motion

This film is the first to use stop motion for the entire film. This was followed by 'Corpse Bride' in 2005. Stop motion is a process where the characters are posed, then a photo is taken, then the characters are posed again, and so on. This is difficult and takes a long time to do.
