4. In the scene where Allie is sitting in a classroom, what does the professor write on the blackboard?

Answer: Leaves of Grass

Ironically, "Leave of Grass" is a Walt Whitman poem. The movie shows Allie look at the title on the board and then look down, as if she recognizes it. It's never shown in the movie whether or not Allie came upon the poem while with Noah, it's simply implied that she recognizes it.

Answer: November

He died in November, and basically left Noah by himself to finish the work on the house.
8. What is the name of the town that Martha Shaw is from?

10. Finish the quote: "He took a good look at what he'd accomplished, got rip-roaring drunk for _____ days, thought seriously about setting it on fire, and finally put the house up for sale".

Answer: ten

In this scene James Garner, who plays the older version of Noah, is narrating while it shows Noah trying to sell the house. He finally came to his senses and decided to try and put it up for sale, but then kept it for himself in the end.
