Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which character drives a car in the beginning of the movie and sends quite a message while pulling away?

Answer: Ralph

Ralph Hapschatt indeed leaves quite a message, "Wait 'til tonite, she got hers now he'll get his", which is painted on the side of the car as he and Betty drive away, happily married. Both the bride and groom met at the same time as Brad and Janet. They met in Dr Everett Scott's class.
2. Which character in the movie sings the least, stays neutral, and yet entertains the audience nonetheless?

Answer: The Criminologist

The Criminologist is the narrator of the movie. He is also one of the theater audience's favorite people to make fun of. Calling him No Neck, the audience has several responses to his lines, probably because he talks the most and most of the time asks a question.

Here are two examples. Charles: "I would like, if I may, to take you on a strange journey". Audience: "How strange was it?" He also shows "The Time Warp" step by step. While Charles Gray played the part in the film, it was actually Jonathan Adams (Dr. Scott) who played the part on stage.

The Criminologist is serious at all times, though an argument could be made that he breaks that during "The Time Warp" while dancing on his desk. However, for the majority of the movie he remains a neutral, narrating, character.
3. Frank-N-Furter is involved with just about every character at one point, whether before or during the film, and treats them accordingly. However, which character seems close to him but only receives negative attention?

Answer: Riff Raff

Riff Raff is the butler and assistant to Dr. Frank-N-Furter. He and his sister are both from the same planet as Frank. Riff Raff is a creepy, Igor-type character to Frank-N-Furter's mad doctor character. Quiet and subdued, you can see, behind those eyes that his mind's at work. At the end Riff Raff kills Frank and takes the castle back to Transylvania with his sister.
4. At the beginning you actually see three characters, who later look quite different, standing at the church doors. Which of these groups is correct?

Answer: Frank-N-Furter, Magenta, Riff Raff

Standing at the church door during the wedding are Magenta, Frank-N-Furter, and Riff Raff. Throughout Brad and Janet's opening song, Riff Raff, Magenta, and Columbia interact with the scene and provide back-up. Frank-N-Furter departs soon after people begin to leave the wedding.
5. Who has parts in several songs, is one of the last remaining characters at the end, is attached to only one man in the movie, and works for Dr. Frank-N-Furter?

Answer: Magenta

Magenta, like I said before, if from Transylvanian like Frank and her brother. She is, in fact, only attached to one man in the "Rocky Horror Picture Show", and that is her brother Riff Raff. They share several inappropriate brother-sister moments, such as a hicky and, what the actors refer to on the dvd commentary as, Elbow Sex.
6. I have my own dance. I am involved with two of the main characters, but only truly love one of them. I am confused with Frank and mad at the same time. Frank is one of the men I get involved with. Which character am I?

Answer: Columbia

Columbia is one of the most popular characters and is also one of the casualties of Riff Raff and Magenta's rebellion. Played by Little Nell, Columbia is one of the most intriguing characters, due to her life story, perhaps not the part about aliens. Columbia was a lover of Frank's.

At some point she met Eddie, played by Meatloaf, and is infatuated with him. Columbia is seen in much anguish as Eddie comes back from his accident, but is immediately murdered again by Frank.
7. I am a man's man, or so I believe, until my run in with Dr. Frank-N-Furter. I find myself feeling so...sexy. Though I don't have makeup on like the rest, I am included in the Floor Show nonetheless. Who am I?

Answer: Dr Scott

Dr. Scott is Brad and Janet's ex-professor. They met in his class, as did Ralph and Betty. Dr Scott's appearance at the mansion is a surprise to Brad and Janet. He shows up to confront Dr Frank-N-Furter due to a letter sent to him by his nephew, Eddie. Eddie sent the letter as a call for help after he discovered that he was going to be used in Dr Frank's experiment to create Rocky.
8. We are the people who are attending Dr. Frank's affair, as Riff Raff calls it, and come in all shapes and sizes.

Answer: Transylvanians

Dr. Frank, Magenta, and Riff Raff are all from another planet. The name is Transylvania and though commonly this is the home of Dracula, in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" it is a planet in the galaxy of Transexual. On the night the film takes place, Dr. Frank is unveiling his latest creation and has invited his fellow Transylvanians to witness it.
9. I am mentioned in the ending credits in "Science Fiction Double Feature" as a "creature" Who am I?

Answer: Rocky

In the ending song, Richard O Brien sings "...Frank has built and, lost his creature...". This is in reference to the plot of the movie and Rocky, hence "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". From beginning to end you see Rocky built, see him cope with the world, see him get tortured, with Janet, and then in the end killed with Frank attached to his back.
10. In the beginning at the opening credits, I am the first person mentioned in the song "Science Fiction Double Feature". Who am I?

Answer: Michael Rennie

The song begins "Michael Rennie was ill the day the Earth stood still...". This is just the first of several movies mentioned. All the movies tend to lean more towards the genre Science Fiction. Hence the name "Science Fiction Double Feature". Michael Rennie was an actor in the 50s who starred in the film "The Day The Earth Stood Still".
