Answer: Jailhouse Rock

Elvis has played in several rock and roll movies, including "Love Me Tender" and "Viva Las Vegas". Answer: Rock Rock Rock

"Rock Rock Rock!" is the movie we're looking for. Dori (Tuesday Weld) tries to find the perfect dress for the prom at the local high school. The plot is a bit of a disappointment (to put it euphemistically), but the music is overwhelming. Whenever Dori starts to sing, it's the voice of Connie Francis we hear. Furthermore there are performances by the acts mentioned in the question, as well as by Alan Freed and His Rock and Roll Band, Jimmy Cavallo and His House Rockers, Frankie Lyman and the Teenagers, The Moonglows, and Cirino and the Bowties.

Answer: The Boat that Rocked

"The Boat that Rocked" (aka "Pirate Radio") is the correct answer. In this movie, we recognise Michael Hadley, Lucy Fleming and Philip Seymour Hoffman. A number of DJs have founded their own radio station, and broadcast contemporary music to the English mainland - where official radio programmers abhorred anything but classical music.
"The History of Rock 'n' Roll" is a set of ten TV documentaries broadcast in 1995 about... well, the title says it all.
"Rock Around the World" is the story of Tommy Steele, who tried to be a rocker like Elvis Presley.

Nicolas Cage plays the role of Charles Goodspeed, and Sean Connery excels as John Patrick Mason. Ed Harris plays the General, who lost 83 soldiers in action. The General tries to blackmail the Pentagon because the families of the deceased soldiers have not received any financial compensation.
