Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "Making Mr. Right", "In the Line of Fire", "The Man in the Iron Mask", "Of Mice and Men"

Answer: John Malkovich

I thought "Con Air" and "Being John Malkovich" would have been too easy. He played a nerdy reclusive scientist AND a too-human android in love with Ann Magnuson in "Making Mr. Right." "You see, I'm not good with people," is a recurring line from that movie.
2. "Happy Together", "The Secret of My Success", "Supergirl", "12:01"

Answer: Helen Slater

Helen Hunt and Helen Slater are actually best friends who have never worked together. Pretty unfortunate as I think they would make a good movie together.
3. "Star Trek: First Contact", "Conspiracy Theory", "A Christmas Carol", "Jeffrey"

Answer: Patrick Stewart

I think he would make a great Gandalf in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. Who's with me!
4. "Platoon", "Body of Evidence", "Clear and Present Danger", "To Live and Die in L.A."

Answer: Willem Dafoe

A veteran many films, including "Existenz", "Off Limits", and "Wild at Heart."
5. "Highlander III", "Crash", "The Game", "Whispers in the Dark"

Answer: Deborah Kara Unger

Also was in the Mel Gibson hit "Payback". A Canadian actress who hasn't had a high-profile career, had a great role in "The Game" as an actress who helps Sean Penn give Michael Douglas the birthday present of a lifetime. "The Game" also features another great but unknown actor in James Rebhorn.
6. "The Unforgiven", "Top Gun", "A River Runs Through It", "Contact"

Answer: Tom Skerritt

Was a Sherriff in a popular TV Series that also starred Kathy Baker, Holly Marie Combs, Fyvush Finkel and Ray Winston. It was called "Picket Fences."
7. "Masquerade", "Youngblood", "Class", "Oxford Blues"

Answer: Rob Lowe

Currently can be seen on the acclaimed drama "The West Wing." But maybe not for long, as rumors are flying that Sam Seaborn is leaving the White House.
8. "Sliver", "Eddie and the Cruisers", "Shattered", "Last of the Dogmen"

Answer: Tom Berenger

Also had more widely known roles in "Platoon", "Major League", and "The Big Chill".
9. "Angel Eyes", "Pay it Forward", "The Count of Monte Cristo", "Frequency"

Answer: James Caviezel

He also played the eventual villain in "High Crimes", which starred Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman as the defense team in a military trial.
10. "Dick", "Crazy Beautiful", "Jumanji", "Wag the Dog"

Answer: Kirsten Dunst

A shoe-in for an Oscar at some point in her career, her first major role was in "Interview With the Vampire". She said in an interview after the movie premiered that kissing Brad Pitt was not fun.
11. "Tank Girl", "Point Break", "A League of Their Own", "The Glass Shield"

Answer: Lori Petty

Kristin Kreuk is on the WB show "Smallville." Prepon and Kunis are costars of "That 70's Show."
12. "B.A.P.S.". "Strictly Business", "The Last Boy Scout", "Boomerang"

Answer: Halle Berry

Halle's career has lifted her at last to the true "leading lady" status she has so long deserved. "Monster's Ball" was a HUGE role for her, and it earned her a very well deserved Oscar nod. When I saw her on the Academy Awards show after the announcement, I was so happy for her I cried too. She stole the show from 007 in the latest Bond flick "Die Another Die" as well.
13. "Scent of a Woman", "For Love or Money", "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken", "Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead"

Answer: Gabrielle Anwar

Her costar in "Wild Hearts" was Michael Schlicting, who was Jake Ryan opposite Molly Ringwald in "Sixteen Candles". What happened to him? Let me know if you know or find out anything.
14. "Sixteen Candles", "Gung Ho", "UHF", "Slackers"

Answer: Gedde Watanabe

He currently has a recurring role as Yoshi Takata on "ER". He was absolutely hilarious as Long Duk Dong, the foreign exchange student from "Sixteen Candles". He also was really good in "Gung Ho" as a "non-traditional" Japanese auto executive.
15. "The Faculty", "John Q", "In and Out", "Simpatico"

Answer: Shawn Hatosy

He's not a highly recognizable name, but has a number of appearances in some really good movies. He also was in "Inventing the Abbotts" which starred Liv Tyler, Joaquin Phoenix, Billy Crudup, Will Patton, Kathy Baker, Joanna Going, and one of my favories, Jennifer Connelly.
16. "Here on Earth", "Never Been Kissed", "The Glass House", "Eyes Wide Shut"

Answer: Lee Lee Sobieski

She also starred in an adaptation of the tale of Joan of Arc, which was a made-for-TV movie which was also released on video, not to be confused with "Messenger" starring Milla Jovovich, also about the enigmatic French warrior-child.
17. "Rough Draft", "Opportunity Knocks", "Bounce", "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion"

Answer: Julia Campbell

Ms. Campbell has had most of her well-known work on television, on hit shows like "Men Behaving Badly", "The Agency", and "Blue Skies". Her too-few-and-far-between movie roles have all been in very entertaining films, though.
18. "Big Top Pee Wee", "Rain Man", "Hot Shots!Part Deux", "Clean Slate"

Answer: Valeria Golino

Most of her work has been in Italian Cinema, but she was surprising in her role in "Rain Man" with two very talented and accomplished actors in Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise.
19. "Nurse Betty", "A Smile Like Yours", "Mystery Men", "Sabrina"

Answer: Greg Kinnear

The host of "Later with Greg Kinnear" in the mid-nineties, his career has certainly skyrocketed with great roles in "Dear God", "As Good As It Gets" and "We Were Soldiers".
20. "Under Siege 2:Dark Territory", "Last Man Standing", "48 Hours", "Freejack"

Answer: Jonathan Banks

He might be better remembered as the man Axel Foley, played by Eddie Murphy, threw over the breakfast buffet table in the original "Beverly Hills Cop". He also costarred in the TV show "Fired Up" alongside Sharon Lawrence, Leah Remini, and Mark Feuerstein.
