"Gone With the Wind" starred Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O'Hara, Clark Gable as Rhett Butler, Olivia de Havilland as Melanie Hamilton and Leslie Howard as Ashley. The film was nominated for 13 Academy Awards and won 10 including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actress (Vivien Leigh). Hattie McDaniel won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in her role as "Mammy". She was the first African-American ever to win an Oscar.

"A Day at the Races" is ranked at number 59 on the American Film Institute's list of the funniest film of all time in "100 years . . . 100 Laughs".
