Answer: Kevin McKidd

 Kevin McKidd died in both "Trainspotting" and "Small Faces". As Tommy Lawrence he died from a heroin overdose and as Malky Johnson he died in a gas explosion. Both films were released in 1996. Kevin McKidd gained more fame for his role as Tommy in "Trainspotting".

He later went on to star in several Hollywood movies such as "Dog Soldiers", "Hannibal Rising" and "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief". He also had a few TV roles which include playing Lucius Vorenus in "Rome" and Owen Hunt in "Grey's Anatomy".
2. Brandon Lee was the star of the box office hit "The Crow". During the making of this movie Brandon Lee died. What was the cause of his death?

Answer: Shot on set

 In this scene, Funboy (Michael Massee) shot The Crow (Brandon Lee), with what he believed was just a blank bullet. He was unaware, as was the cast, that the remnants of a real bullet were also fired, causing Brandon Lee's death. Many people still believe that Brandon Lee's death was no accident.

It's alleged he was deliberately shot because he refused to payoff the massive build-up of his father, Bruce Lee's, debts. Before Brandon Lee's untimely death he also starred in "Legacy of Rage" and "Showdown in Little Tokyo".

 Howard Marks (Rhys Ifans) meets Ernie Combs (Crispin Glover) in the movie, to arrange a shipment of marijuana to be smuggled into California. It goes wrong and the load is discovered at JFK airport, which leads to Ernie being arrested. To buy his own freedom he testifies against Howard Marks. Crispin Glover is also known for his roles as Marty McFly's father George in "Back to the Future", and his role as "Thin Man" in "Charlies Angels: Full Throttle".

 "Pan's Labyrinth" is about a little girl named Ofelia (Ivana Baquero), who ventures into a fantasy world to escape living in post-civil war Spain, 1944. Ofelia is given tasks by a mythical faun in order to open a way to the underworld, one of which is to retrieve an ornate dagger from the domain of the Pale Man, a child-eating monster who sits silently in front of a large feast.

She was warned by the faun not to touch any of the Pale Man's feast, but she did, with deadly consequences.

 Asami's (Eihi Shiina) jealous rage really comes to a head when she sees a photograph of Aoyama's (Ryo Ishibashi) dead wife, resulting in Asami sawing off Aoyama's feet with a wire saw. Takashi Miike is more famous for movies such as "13 Warriors" and "One Missed Call" but he has a massive cult following for his highly disturbing and not-for-the-faint-hearted movies such as "Visitor Q", "Gozu" and "Ichi the Killer".

The visitors are henchmen sent by Komtuan (Suchao Pongwilai), the head of the assassins in Bangkok. Komtuan steals the head because underneath the stone covering it is solid gold.

He tries to make his fortune but, Muay Thai master Ting (Tony Jaa) intervenes.

 The movie is set in the 60s, when Li'l Dice (Douglas Silva) is a twelve year old who develops a likeness for killing. By the time the 70s come round He changes his name to Li'l Ze (Leandro Firmino da Hora) and takes over a vast area of the favella, as a murderous drug lord.

The movie "City of God" was adapted from a book of the same name by Paulo Lins, based on real events of crime in the favella's of Rio de Janeiro.
10. In the spoof movie "Kung Pow", director, writer and star Steve Oedekerk uses scenes from which little known, 1976, Chinese kung fu movie?

Answer: Tiger & Crane Fists

 The little known Chinese movie "Tiger & Crane Fists" is about two rival martial arts schools, who have to unite to do battle with Japanese occupational forces. In "Kung Pow" Steve Oedekerk dubs and acts over the main star Jimmy Wang Yu's character in "Tiger & Crane Fists" with a hilarious outcome. Steve Oedekerk is more famous for directing the Jim Carrey classic "Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls".
