Vincent Price ("The Raven", "House of Wax") played Dr. Robert Morgan in "The Last Man on Earth", based on the novel "I Am Legend" by Richard Matheson. Flashbacks showed how doctors tried to warn people that a virus could cause widespread vampirism, but Dr. Morgan (Vincent Price) didn't believe it until it was too late.

There were scenes involving the burning of the dead, which inspired the end of "Night of the Living Dead". Morgan had buried his wife, but she returned as a vampire.

Eddie Murphy began on "Saturday Night Live" and went on to star in many movies, including "48 Hours", "Beverly Hills Cop", "Trading Places", "Coming to America" "Dr. Doolittle", and "The Nutty Professor".

Another movie based on the book "I Am Legend" was "The Omega Man" starring Charlton Heston ("Planet of the Apes", "Ben-Hur") as Robert Neville. This time the story was set in Los Angeles and Neville was working on a cure for the disease turning people into vampires. Somehow the story ended the same way "The Last Man on Earth" did, with the hero getting stabbed with a spear. Ironically, Heston played a similar part that Vincent Price had played, and Heston, as Moses, had killed Price's character in "The Ten Commandments".

In the vampire movie "The Hunger" John (David Bowie), a cellist, had lived as a vampire for a long time with his vampire girl friend, Miriam (Catherine Deneuve), but he noticed that he started to age. He thought he would be eternally young as a vampire. He went to see age expert Dr. Sarah Roberts (Susan Sarandon), but she kept him waiting. By the time he got tired of waiting and left, he had aged about 50 years. Later, Dr. Roberts went to John's house to see him, but Miriam seduced her, and turned Roberts into a vampire.

David Bowie was a famous singer who did songs for the movie "Cat People" and starred in "The Man Who Fell to Earth".

Dr. Browning (Vincent Price) was doing experiments to create genetically superior, super-strong people. One of these people, Keith (Michael Gothard), had escaped and began biting people and drinking their blood, like a vampire, to keep up his strength. The police caught him and handcuffed him to a car bumper, but he removed his hand and walked straight up a hill. When he got home, Dr. Browning destroyed the evidence by dissolving Keith in a vat of acid.

Vincent Price starred in many movies, including "Theatre of Blood", "Comedy of Terrors", "Tales of Terror", "The Tingler", "The Fly", "The Ten Commandments", and his voice was used in the song and video "Thriller".

Mango had been grabbing people and taking them to Dracula's castle to feed Dracula and his wife. Eventually, Glen Cannon (Gene O'Shane) killed Dracula (Alex D'Arcy) and the butler (John Carradine) who had been burning people in sacrifice to Satan. However, Mango (Ray Young) grabbed another woman and was about to burn her when Glen attacked Mango and burned Mango instead.

Alex D'Arcy (Aug 10, 1908 - Apr 20, 1996) was born in Cairo, Egypt. He appeared in various TV shows and movies, including "The Awful Truth" and "How to Marry a Millionaire".

Von Helsing was arrested at the beginning of "Dracula's Daughter" for killing Dracula and various vampires, because the police didn't believe in vampires. Countess Marya Zaleska (Gloria Holden) managed to take Dracula's body away from police headquarters and set fire to it, hoping it would cure her of being a vampire, but that didn't work.

She later talked Dr. Jeffrey Garth into helping her quit her vampire ways, but she ended up seducing his girlfriend.

There was no Dr. Van Helsing in "House of Dracula". There was Dr. Edelmann (Onslow Stevens) who used blood transfusions to try to cure Dracula (John Carradine). He used plant mold to cure the wolf man (Lon Chaney Jr). He also found Frankenstein's monster (Glenn Strange).

This is one of the few classic monster movies with only one doctor. All he had was two nurses to help him handle three movie monsters.
