Madonna's "Vogue" shot to number one in the UK singles chart in April 1990, commanding the top spot for four weeks. Along with Madonna, all of the other artists listed also reached the coveted number one spot that year. Kylie Minogue hit the top spot with "Tears On My Pillow", while Maria McKee earned her first UK number one with "Show Me Heaven". Finally, Snap's "The Power" also reached number one in March 1990.
