Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The rolex is in the post?

Answer: Your Time Is Gonna Come

First album song, played only on the first tour and then cropping up sporadically as a part of the 'Whole Lotta Love' medley.
2. The cruel and immoral ballad?

Answer: The Wanton Song

This "Physical Graffiti" song features Page's backwards echo technique, giving a doppler sound shift effect.
3. K.Oed on the mosaic?

Answer: Out On The Tiles

Story goes that a little ditty Bonzo made up and used to sing before
going out on the town was the inspiration behind this fun song from the third album. Out on the tiles is an English saying for going out drinking or clubbing, another way of saying tomcattin'.
4. Time of the dam burst?

Answer: When The Levee Breaks

Heart thumping bass and snare drum beat from Bonzo opens this classic fourth album track. The drum sound has been sampled a million times through the eighties to the present day, if you keep an ear open you can hear it all over the place, especially in drum and bass music.
5. Tolkien's foggy hill skip?

Answer: Misty Mountain Hop

Plant said that the song was written in honour of a love-in session that took place in London during the sixties and was raided by the police- bless 'em.
6. What the hell's happened to that golden gates?

Answer: The Crunge

'Houses of the Holy' spoof James Brown dance track. Crunge was a made up name by Plant and Bonzo for a new dance groove.
7. Ballad never changes?

Answer: The Song Remains The Same

The vocal track on this H.O.T.H. album song was speeded up to create a special effect, a bit like inhaling helium. Page hits new heights of creativity with his multi-layered guitars.
8. Miles over yonder mountains?

Answer: Over The Hills And Far Away

This superbly constructed H.O.T.H. song was released as a single in 1973 but failed to reach the U.S. top fifty.
9. Tuesday the twist, thursday the samba, sunday the boogie?

Answer: Dancing Days

The H.O.T.H. song was inspired by Page and Plant's experiments with eastern music. The band were seen dancing in a line on the lawn outside the recording studio whilst listening to the playback.
10. Decade has left?

Answer: Ten Years Gone

Jimmy used around 14 guitar tracks to overdub the harmony section of this Physical Graffiti tune. Plaintive lyrics from Mr Plant and remains one of my favourite pieces.
