3. Complete these Andrew lyrics - 'I played a lot of horrible songs. Yeah a lot of them were ________'

'Party Hard' was a big hit and the song which turned a lot of people (including me) onto his music. Witnessing this song live in a room full of other like-minded people is something which defies explanation. Truly amazing.
5. Andreww's guitarist Erik Payne was in the Jackass movie?

He wasn't actually in the film but he was in an episode. The one where they had the big half pipe constructed on the side of some river. He slammed into the jump and broke his shoulder! I'm sure Andrew saw the funny side.

No, this song was written before the attacks on the World Trade Centre. Andrew remembers walking 80 blocks to work to save a couple of dollars because he was so hard up for cash in the early days in NYC.
8. On the front of AWK's album 'I Get Wet' Andrew is pictured with a broken nose and blood running down his face. This led to an unusual request from some distributors who were to carry the album. Which request is real?

Answer: A black shrinkwrap cover to cover the blood

It's true. Some distributors felt that it would offend people. Andrew says "I'm sure that it does upset some people to see a picture like that". The cover certainly generated some press for the album which proved a great success for him.
