Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The word "walrus" derives from the Latin word for corpse.

Answer: False

Actually, the word "walrus" derives from the Greek word for corpse. I am the Corpse?!
2. During the fadeout of which song can you hear someone saying "O, untimely death"?

Answer: I am the Walrus

That is just one of the lines from Shakespeare's "King Lear" (Act IV Scene VI) that can be heard in the fadeout of "I am the Walrus". The lines were taken from a BBC Broadcast. Could the line refer to Paul's death?
3. "Goo Goo G'Joob" has been said to be the last words of what childhood character?

Answer: Humpty Dumpty

Rumor has it that those are the "eggman's" famous last words before his terrible accident. Could they have been Paul's as well?
4. Which Beatles female song character was said to have been with Paul at the time of his accident?

Answer: Rita

It is rumored that Paul had picked up a hitchhiker early one morning (Wednesday morning at five o'clock?) on his way home from the studio. The hitchhiker, believed to be named Rita, got so excited to be near Paul, she unintentionally caused the accident. So Paul "Took her home. I nearly made it" with "Lovely Rita".
5. When this song is played backwards, you can hear someone say "Paul is dead now, miss him, miss him, miss him"?

Answer: I'm So Tired

The phrase is spoken very softly right at the end of "I'm So Tired" and before "Blackbird". A blackbird is a symbol of upcoming death and disasters.
6. At the end of which song can you hear someone say "Paul, Paul"?

Answer: While My Guitar Gently Weeps

I'm sure that is debateable, like most of the items in this quiz, but let's just pretend for the quiz's sake. The "Paul, Paul" when played backwards sounds like "help, help"
7. Which song flat-out states "the walrus was Paul"?

Answer: Glass Onion

The whole song was to play with the heads of people like myself who like to find hidden messages in songs. It worked.
8. There is apparently phone number mentioned in the song "You Know My Name (Look the Number)" that when called gave the message "Beware of Abbey Road".

Answer: True

There is in fact a number mentioned. The number comes after a cuckoo clock cuckoos five times.
9. When played in reverse, which song can you hear the phrase "Paul is bloody, Paul is very very bloody"?

Answer: Blue Jay Way

The message is during the line "please don't be long, please don't you be very long".
10. What is the name of the young man who called Detroit DJ Russ Gibb's radio show on October 12, 1969, ultimately starting the "Paul is Dead" rumor?

Answer: Tom

He is simply known as Tom. He called the Detroit DJ to point out a few odd messages laced within the Beatles lyrics, clearly pointing out that Paul was dead. The rest, as they say, is history.
