Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. 'Obscured by the sun. Apocalyptic clash. Cities fall in ruin. Why must we die?'

Answer: Sepultura

I'll hope this one scores a deserved 100 percent. Sepultura - 'Arise' (1991). After leadsinger Max Cavalera left (or was he kicked out?) the band, he formed Soulfly. Both bands didn't have much success.
2. 'Faster than a bullet. Terrifying scream. Enraged and full of anger. He's half man and half machine.'

Answer: Judas Priest

Judas Priests 'Painkiller' from 1990!
3. 'Can you can you can you hear me? Can you can you can you see me? Can you can you can you hear me? Can you can you can you see me?'

Answer: Nuclear Assault

Tough one? No it's not! Nuclear Assault - 'Sin', from their 1986 album 'Game Over'.
4. 'We're the few, we're the proud, we like to jam it loud. The music we play, won't have it any other way. We're armed to the bone with our music and our tone. Recruiting on the street, with the sound of our beat.'

Answer: Suicidal Tendencies

Well, it's got something to do with the army that's for sure! Suicidal Tendencies - 'Join the Army' (1987).
5. 'Sitting in the corner, you are naked and alone. No one listened to your fears, you've created me.'

Answer: Annihilator

Annihilator - 'Alison Hell' ('Alice in Hell'). From 1989. A beautiful song!
6. 'Johnny can you hear me. Turn that music down. You're making too much noise, I mean it do it now. All that stuff is evil Ozzy, Judas Priest. There's backwards messages in that stuff that leads you to the beast.'

Answer: Sacred Reich

Sacred Reich - 'Who's to blame?'. Yep, who was to blame for the deaths (suicides?) of young metalheads? Backwords messages in the name of satan? Stupid idiot politicians. Stupid metalheads. Stupid parents. From 'The American Way', 1990.
7. 'Across the tracks no one takes your back. Across the tracks. The boys in the gang want to see me hang.'

Answer: Biohazard

Biohazard - 'Wrong Side of the Tracks' (1992). From their bestselling album 'State of the World Address'.
8. 'In the stillness of the night my eyes are closed. My mouth is wide. I could see her face. Her beautiful hair I could recognize.'

Answer: Life of Agony

Life of Agony - 'Let's Pretend' from their album 'Ugly' (1995). A song about singer Keith Caputo's parents. When he quit they tried some other singers but were never successful again. (That Ugly Kid Joe dude, what were they thinking?!?!)
9. 'You take a mortal man. And put him in control. Watch him become a god. Watch people's heads a'roll.'

Answer: Megadeth

From 'Countdown to Extinction' the smasherhit 'Symphony of Destruction' (1992), from Megadeth. I still find it hard to believe frontman Dave Mustaine started in Metallica.
10. 'I left alone my mind was blank. I needed time to get the memories from my mind. What did I see can I believe. That what I saw that night was real and not just fantasy.'

Answer: Iron Maiden

666, 'The number of the Beast'! Iron Maiden, from the album 'the number of the beast' (1982). Bruce returned!
