Between personal and managerial problems, Skip Spence only made two albums with Moby Grape. Succumbing to multiple health problems, Spence died in Santa Cruz, CA in 1999.

Never an actual member, 16 year old Greg Munford, was there when recording was going on and gave the vocals to "Incense and Peppermints." Strawberry Alarm Clock appeared in the 1968 film "Psych-Out" with Jack Nicholson and in the 1970 movie "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls."
