David Lee Roth's first solo single after leaving Van Halen was a cover of the Beach Boys' "California Girls" in 1985. He went on to have more hits in the 1980's like "Just A Gigolo/I Ain't Got Nobody" and "Just Like Paradise".
He rejoined Van Halen in 2012 to record the album "A Different Kind of Truth".

Answer: Mick Jagger

Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Freddie Mercury all recorded duets with Jackson, but only Sir Mick sang on 'State Of Shock' released on The Jacksons album 'Victory'.

Answer: Ozzy Osbourne

It was of course Ozzy. When he was sacked from Black Sabbath in 1978. Their manager Don Arden gave Ozzy's contract to his daughter Sharon Arden, who not only turned him into a major star, but also married him.

Dio, Gillan and Halford all sang with Black Sabbath at various times after Ozzy's departure, until Ozzy rejoined the band in 2013 for a final album and farewell tour.
