From their 1971 compilation album "Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy," "The Seeker" is probably best known for its appearance in the 1999 Academy Award winning film "American Beauty" and as one of the tracks on the hit video game "Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock."
2. A peach hack

From their 1966 album "A Quick One", "Happy Jack" was The Who's first top forty hit in the USA and was featured in a 2003 Hummer TV commercial.

From the 1965 album of the same name, "My Generation" came in at number 11 on "Rolling Stone's" list of the 500 greatest songs of all time.

From their 1969 rock opera "Tommy", "Pinball Wizard" is one of the best known songs from the album. Famous covers have been made by Elton John, Rod Stewart and Tenacious D and it was also featured in "Rock Band 2."
