Vixen were an all-girl group who released two albums between 1988 and 1990. Their debut album was a self titled effort which provided the hits "Edge of a Broken Heart" and "Cryin'". Their second release was "Rev It Up" which yielded the hits "How Much Love" and "Love is a Killer".

Def Leppard were one of the biggest bands to emerge from the new wave of British heavy metal movement. Forming in 1977, their first gig was in a dining hall in "A" Block in Westfield School in Mosborough, Sheffield. Joe Elliot came up with the name "Def Leopard" while writing reviews for imaginary rock bands in English class. Original member Tony Kenning later altered the name to the one we see now.

After years of fighting alcohol and substance abuse Steve Clark died in his home and was found by then girlfriend Janie Dean on January 8th, 1991.

The Bulletboys formed in Los Angeles,CA after vocalist Marq Torein, guitarist Mick Sweda and bassist Lonnie Vencent left King Kobra. Original drummer Marc Danzeisen was replaced by Jimmy D'Anda. They were signed to Warner Brothers soon after. The bands first two albums sold over 1 million copies worldwide. Sweda and D'Anda left after their 1993 release "Za-Za". Mick quit for good in 2000 after the release of their album "Greatest Hits: Burning Cats and Amputees".

LaBar joined the band in 1985 after original guitarist Michael Smerick and original drummer Tony Destra left to form another hair metal band, Britny Fox. They later on released one of the most well known power ballads "Don't Know What You Got (Till It's Gone)".

Quiet Riot vocalist Kevin DuBrow introduced Sarzo and Tony Cavazo in the early 1980's. After deciding to start a band they obtained singer Kelly Hansen, drummer Jay Schellen and guitarist Michael Guy. In 1988, they released their biggest album "Over The Edge".

The band slowly fell apart with the uprising of grunge music. Hurricane reunion? Maybe! In a 2007 article Sarzo has attempted to reform Hurricane,and he and other members of the reconstituted line-up are reportedly working on a new album.

Kiss formed in New York City in 1973. The Demon, The Starchild, The Spaceman and the Catman came about due to each members own personalities and interests. On Frehley's first audition, he impressed everyone even though he was wearing two different colored sneakers. Frehley was in the band from the beginning until 1982 when he embarked on a solo career.

He has joined old bandmates from time to time for reunion and farewell tours.

White Lion formed in New York City in 1983. Their first album "Fight To Survive" went through many line-up changes and record companies before finally being re-recorded with new members and released in 1984. Their next album "Pride" proved victorious for the next year and a half was filled with touring. White Lion's "Pride" tour started in July 1987 opening for Ace Frehley's 80's band Frehley's Comet. White Lion called it quits in 1991 after touring in support of their album "Mane Attraction".

W.A.S.P formed in 1982 and emerged from the Los Angeles rock/heavy metal scene. The band was signed to Capitol Records for their debut self-titled album released in 1984. The songs "I Wanna Be Somebody" and "L.O.V.E Machine" were two of the most popular songs to come from that album. W.A.S.P was one of the bands to become a target to the Parents Music Resource Center of the 1980's. "Mean Man" from their "The Headless Children" album was written by Blackie Lawless about Holmes.
