Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. First of all, when was this album released? (Remember it's the INTERNATIONAL album through the whole quiz).

Answer: 1976

The album was released a 're-master', with the cover we know today, in 2003.
The Australian release was in 1975.
2. In which country did the band begin their tour, from this album? (NOT IN AUSTRALIA).

Answer: UK

Since three of the AC/DC members, Bon, Angus and Malcolm, were from Scotland, which is a part of the UK if you didn't knew, the tour went in the whole UK. Some touring had been done in Australia before the international release.
3. Who produced this album?

Answer: Harry Vanda and George Young

George is actually Mal's and Ang's older brother. He produced almost every album in the 'Bon Scott era'.
4. The song 'Can I Sit Next to You Girl' is written, unlike the other songs, only by Angus and Malcolm; why is this so?

Answer: Because it was written before the Bon Scott era.

Yes, this song was written by Angus and Malcolm when AC/DC was together with Dave Evans, their original lead vocalist. The song's original name is 'Can I Sit Next to You'.
5. How many singles came from this album, in Europe?

Answer: 3

The singles are:
'High Voltage'
'T.N.T.'
'Can I Sit Next to You Girl'.
6. What does this album's cover look like, from when it was rereleased as a remaster (in the year of 2003)?

Answer: Angus with his beloved red Gibson SG and a yellow lightning bolt

In Europe the original cover looked way different, in many different colors, like purple, pink and green. It showed Bon Scott singing; that was the only album cover showing Bon, except for the "If You Want Blood" cover.
7. Where does the picture on the rereleased cover originally come from?

Answer: The cover of the single 'It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll).

The cover isn't exactly all the same, since there is a little stick on the single's cover. By the way, I didn't hope you answered "On Geordie's 'No Good Woman' album cover", since Geordie had no relation with AC/DC that time.
8. What did this album become rewarded with in the USA?

Answer: 3x Platinum

3x Platinum = 3 million sold albums.
9. How many 'Ois' are shouted before Bon starts singing in 'T.N.T.'?

Answer: 15

Pretty interesting fact, I didn't expect you knew! Later in the song, just after the guitar solo, before the end, 21 other 'Ois' are shouted.
10. Now to the more song related questions. Which song off of this list is almost always played at AC/DC concerts today?

Answer: T.N.T.

Both 'The Jack' and 'High Voltage' are also played. It's a shame that 'It's a Long Way' isn't played much anymore.
11. What is very special, for AC/DC, about 'It's a Long Way to the Top'?

Answer: The song features bagpipes

The song isn't telling you to stop rock 'n' roll, but it is warning you about how hard it is.
12. Before this album was made, while the song 'Can I Sit Next to You' (Not 'Can I Sit Next to You Girl') was under progress, Bon Scott worked together with AC/DC as what?

Answer: Roadie

It's a pretty interesting fact, that he was their roadie. Also if you have some spare time, try to read the story about how Bon Scott joined AC/DC, I think it's a pretty funny one.
13. According to the song 'Live Wire', is Bon Scott hotter than a rolling dice or cooler than a body on ice?

Answer: Both

It is not Bon Scott who is wilder than a drunken fight, it is the woman in the song.
14. How many things is Bon Scott asked in 'High Voltage'?

Answer: 7

The things are: about his clothes, about his hair, why he is in a band, why he likes to dance, why he likes to sing, why he likes to play and what he is all about.
15. In the song 'Rock 'n' Roll Singer', what did Bon Scott's parents want him to be respected as?

Answer: Doctor or lawyer man

They don't want Bon to become a rock 'n' roll singer...
