Bachman, co-founder of Bachman Turner Overdrive, was originally with Chad Allan and the Expressions, who first hit the charts in 1965 with 'Shakin' All Over'. They originally shipped the single out using the name 'Guess Who?' and the name stuck. Cummings, who charted solo with 'Stand Tall' in 1976, joined as a keyboardist in 1966.

Mustaine formed the group Megadeth shortly after being let go in 1982.
