Madonna released "Like a Virgin" in 1984. "Bedtime Stories" came out a decade later on October 25, 1994. "Ray of Light" was released on March 3, 1998.

Answer: The Clash

The Clash released "London Calling" on December 14, 1979 and critics call it one of the ten most important albums of all time. "Sandinista!" was their 1980 follow up album. "Combat Rock" was released on May 14, 1982 and contains much more pop oriented singles like "Rock the Casbah" and "Should I Stay or Should I Go".
