On the 1995 tour, Hagar was going to replace his solo song "Eagles Fly" with "Give to Live". Then Jerry Garcia died, and so Hagar would play "Eagles Fly" as a tribute to Garcia. He said that though Garcia and himself weren't real close, whenever they saw each other they would always talk.

The four songs were from Kiss's fifth album, "Love Gun". In 1989, he released the album "Lukather", which Eddie Van Halen participated in the making of. He also played on "Beat It" with Eddie.
