Answer: House Of Fun

'House Of Fun', released in 1982, was their first and only number one hit and spent nine weeks in the charts. Written by Lee Thompson and Mike Barson, it is about a young lad coming of age and trying to buy condoms, using slang for condoms and getting misunderstood by the chemist and sent to 'The House Of Fun'.
3. 'When I get home it's late at night. I'm black and bloody from my life. I haven't time to wash my hands. Cuts will only sting me through my dreams.' Which Madness record?

Answer: Cardiac Arrest

'Cardiac Arrest', released in 1982, spent ten weeks in the charts and peaked at 14. The song was written by band members Chris Foreman and Chas Smash, and it basically sums up a man who works and worries so hard he ends up with a heart attack (cardiac arrest).

It was not given much airplay due to the reference to heart attacks and maybe that's why it did not make the top ten (personally it is my favourite -- so cleverly written).
5. 'Lots of girls and lots of boys. Lots of smells and lots of noise. Playing football in the park. Kicking push bikes after dark.' Which Madness song?

Answer: Baggy Trousers

'Baggy Trousers', released in 1980, spent 20 weeks in the UK charts peaking at number three. The song was written by band members Suggs and Chris Foreman. The video showed Lee Thompson flying through the air whilst doing his solo saxophone part; this was done by using wires from a crane.

7. 'I've got a wife and three kids you know. They'll tell you I'm straight well at least I think so. I'm as honest as the day is long. The longer the daylight the less I do wrong.' Which Madness song?

10. 'If you're not in the mood to dance. Step back grab yourself a seat. This may not be uptown Jamaica. But we promise you a treat.' Which Madness song?

Answer: The Prince

Released in 1979 'Prince' was the first single released by Madness, it stayed in the charts for eleven weeks peaking at number sixteen. It was written by band member Lee Thompson and was a tribute to Prince Buster who majorly influenced the band.
