Answer: Jimmy Buffett

"Come Monday" was a single from Jimmy Buffett's "Living and Dying in 3/4 Time" album. The flip side was "The Wino I Know". "Come Monday" reached Number 30 on the US Billboard charts, establishing Jimmy Buffett as a Top Forty artist. Three years later Jimmy made the Top Ten with the Number Eight hit, "Margaritaville".

It became his highest charting single until he released the Number Eight "Hey Good Lookin'" with Alan Jackson, Clint Black, Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith and George Strait in 2004. "Monday, Monday" was a single cut from the band's "If You Can Believe Your Eyes and Ears" album, their only US Number One album.
