Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "Another fight and I slam the door on, another battle in our dirty little war."

Answer: One Step Up

"When I look at myself I don't see, the man I wanted to be." Is the line that follows. This is from Kenny's newest CD "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems" which debuted in April of 2002 and is at "Double Platinum" status.
2. "At first I thought of leavin' town, but I couldn't let our families down, now I'm out here throwin' this ball around with a boy, that looks just like me."

Answer: Never Gonna Feel That Way Again

"Well it's my life and it's sure fun, another race I'm glad I get to run" is the line that follows.
3. "She swears, she won't divorce a third time, she swears, the more she knows about love, the harder it is to find, the perfect picture of her white horse prince is now, dependability and common sense..."

Answer: Dreams

"Someone, kind and brave, someone, not afraid of dreams, of sharin' a life and a home, never ever being alone again, not even diamonds just a little gold, someone there to hold her hand when she gets old."

Kenny sang this song with his mother in mind after she broke up with her boyfriend.
4. "She signed autographs, like she was Garth Brooks in a skirt, and in the aftermath that small time town was hers."

Answer: Big Star

"That's the thing about dreams. You start there, but you gotta keep working. After all that, all the work they put in, people will always be quick to discount it - because they'd have to face what they weren't willing to do. So this song should remind anyone with a dream to keep dreaming - have fun with it, be passionate about it and don't let people make you ashamed of them."

-Kenny Chesney (The inside sleeve of the CD)
5. "I wish I woulda gone to church on Sunday mornings when my grandma begged me to, but I was afraid of God."

Answer: A Lot of Things Different

This song is obviously about regrets and wanting to go back and do things differently.
6. "Sitting here alone, thoughts of you running wild, longing for your touch, haunted by your smile."

Answer: I Remember

"No use in tryin' to you erase, no one could ever take your place."
7. "He said when you get home she'll start to cry, when she says I'm sorry say so am I."

Answer: The Good Stuff

This is my favorite Kenny Chesney song! Although I love them all. Kenny recorded this song for his good friend Rusty who works in his building. His wife had died of cancer, and to make her feel better when she lost her hair, he shaved his own head. Kenny has been quoted as saying he wants to be that in love with someone to do something like that.
8. "I want a towel on a chair in the sand by the sea, I wanna look through my shades and see you there with me."

Answer: No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems

From Kenny's CD by the same name.
9. "He said this world ain't the same if you ask me, if I could be somewhere else I tell ya where I'd be, I'd be rollin' on a river with Creedence, stealin' kisses from Peggy Sue."

Answer: Live Those Songs

"I'd be knee deep in sand on the Panama beach in the spring of 72', I'd be wastin' away on the dock of the bay watchin' the tide roll in." is the next line.
10. "I spent five years in the bottle, when the cancer took her from me, but I've been sober three years now, cuz the one thing stronger then the whiskey was the sight of her holdin' my baby girl."

Answer: The Good Stuff

My favorite line in "The Good Stuff." All of these quotes are from the "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems" CD.
