1. 'Saying I love you is not the words I want to hear from you.'

Answer: Extreme

This song is called 'More Than Words' and has been covered by many bands, including Westlife and BBMak.
It reached Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1991.
Extreme are an American rock band, popular in the late 80's and early 90's. They also sang 'Hole Hearted' and 'Song for Love'.
2. 'Everybody's looking for that something, one thing that makes it all complete.'

Answer: Westlife

'Flying Without Wings' is Westlife's third released single; it went straight to number one in the UK.
Westlife are an Irish pop band, most famous for their ballads. They continued on as a quartet when band member Bryan McFadden left the group to go solo.
Westlife also sang 'Swear It Again', 'Mandy' and 'Uptown Girl'.
3. 'You've got me dancing and crying, rolling and flying, love don't let me go.'

Answer: David Guetta

This song is called 'Love Don't Let Me Go'. The backing music for the song was used in the UK Citroen adverts. It also reached Number 3 in the UK charts in 2006.
David Guetta is a DJ, often accompanied by singer Chris Willis.

'A Million Love Songs' was Take That's first released ballad. It reached Number 7 in the charts and was written by Gary Barlow when he was a teenager.
Take That were arguably the biggest UK boy band of the 90's, clocking up 8 UK Number 1s before their split in 1996. In 2006 the band reunited (except old bandmate Robbie Williams) for a tour and recorded a new album.
5. 'Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road.'

'(Good Riddance) Time of Your Life' reached Number 11 in the UK charts. Although written just after their album 'Dookie', it was not released until after 'Nimrod' came out.
Green Day formed in 1989, although not seeing any chart success until the release of 'Basket Case' in 1994.
6. 'When the visions around you bring tears to your eyes'

Answer: 'NSync

'This I Promise You' was the last single to be taken off the album 'No Strings Attached', although it reached Number 5 in the American Billboards it landed just outside the Top 20 in the UK.
'NSync consist of Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and Lance Armstrong. Up to 2006 only Justin and JC have released solo albums.
'NSync's band name allegedly comes from the band members' first names-
justiN, chriS, joeY, laNce and jC.
7. 'Call me good, call me bad, call me anything you want to baby.'

Answer: Wham!

'I'm Your Man' was Wham!'s 4th Number 1 in the UK, it was released from their album 'Music from the Edge of Heaven'.
Within six months after the release of this single, Wham! announced their split.
Shane Richie has covered this song for charity, also reaching number 1.
8. 'Oh thinkin' about our younger years, there was only you and me.'

Answer: Bryan Adams

'Heaven' was first released on the OST for 'A Night in Heaven' but Bryan Adams chose to release on his album 'Reckless' almost a year later.
DJ Sammy remixed the song which got to Number 1 in the UK, which Bryan Adams' original had failed to do; reaching Number 38 in the charts in 1985.
9. 'Don't cry to me, if you loved me you would be here with me.'

Answer: Evanescence

'Call Me When You're Sober' was the first single released from the Evanescence album 'The Open Door'. It reached Number 4 in the UK charts.
The music video is loosely based on the story of Little Red Riding Hood.
This was Evanescence's first song after the departure of band member Ben Moody.
10. 'Here's the thing, we started out friends.'

Answer: Kelly Clarkson

'Since U Been Gone' was the first released UK track from Kelly's second album 'Breakaway and reached Number 5 in the UK charts.
Kelly had decided to go for a more pop rock sound in her second album and worked with Ben Moody (formerly of Evanescence fame) on some of her songs on this album.
11. 'I've seen you darling, seen you hanging round town.'

Answer: Hard Fi

'Hard to Beat' was the third single released from Hard Fi's first album 'Stars of CCTV'.
Hard Fi are an indie rock band from Staines. Their debut album 'Stars of CCTV' is definitely one of my favourites, and I recommend it wholeheartedly!
12. 'So lately, been wondering who will be there to take my place?'

Answer: The Calling

'Wherever You Will Go' was from The Calling's album 'Camino Palmero'. It enjoyed worldwide success, reaching number one in both Italy and New Zealand and landing in the Top 5 of the American, Australian and UK Charts.
Drew Fuller (of 'Charmed' fame) appeared in the music video.
13. 'I've been the needle and the thread.'

Answer: Maroon 5

'Must Get Out' was Maroon 5's final release from their debut album 'Songs About Jane'. The song only reached the Number 39 position in the UK Top 40 chart.
Maroon 5 released 'Songs About Jane' in 2002, it won considerable awards and enjoyed major chart success.
Adam Levine is the frontman for Maroon 5, he also appeared alongside the rapper Kanye West in 'Heard 'Em Say'.
14. 'Give me the song and I'll sing it like I mean it.'

Answer: The Feeling

'Sewn' was the first released song from The Feeling's album 'Twelve Stops and Home'. It reached Number 5 in the UK charts. This song also features in the FIFA 2007 video game.
The Feeling consist of Dan Gillespie Sells, Richard Jones (who is married to Sophie Ellis-Bextor), Kevin & Ciaran Jeremiah and Paul Stewart.
15. 'I still hear your voice when you sleep next to me, I still feel your touch in my dreams.'

Answer: Cascada

'Everytime We Touch' was the first released single from the debut album of the same name, it reached a peak position of Number 2 in the UK charts held off the top spot by Shakira's 'Hips Don't Lie'.
The music video takes place in a library where the singer is trying to liven up her librarian boyfriend.
