"Wednesday Morning 3 A.M." was the title cut from their debut album released in late 1964. The song was a flop when it came out, but was re-released in 1966, and went to number 30 on Billboard's U.S. Top 40 after the duo had some major success. Another song on the album which you may have heard of, was released a little later and had a little more success.

It was called "Sounds Of Silence".
2. Sam Cooke had "some money, and just got paid" on what night of the week?

"Another Saturday Night" was a top ten hit for Sam Cooke in 1963, peaking at number ten on the Billboard charts that year. The song was most notably covered in 1974 by Cat Stevens. The talented Cooke had 29 Top 40 records in a span of eight years between 1957 and 1965. Unfortunately he was shot to death in 1965, in a dispute with a California hotel manager.
