The song also reached number two in Canada, and number four in the U.K.. Taylor and King were handsomely rewarded for his fortune, with both winning Grammy awards for the song. Springfield's version went unreleased until 1999, when it was finally issued on one of her re-releases.

Answer: Mother Father Sister Brother

MFSB is actually the acronym for Mother Father Sister Brother which was the way the record label read (MFSB). The song which was essentially an instrumental piece save for the verse "Let's get it on, its time to get down" which can occasionally be heard throughout.

This verse was sung by The Three Degrees, who would go on to have some major success of their own later that same year when "When Will I See You Again" reached number two on the Billboard charts. As for "TSOP", it was originally written as the theme song for the popular American television music show, "Soul Train", and it spent two weeks at the top of the Billboard charts in the spring of 1974.
6. Frankie Valli had a hit with this 1975 tune whose original title was "Blue Eyes In Georgia" He changed the title and the song went to number one. What song?

Answer: My Eyes Adored You

"My Eyes Adored You" was the song whose title changed in 1974 and became Frankie Valli's first number one tune (No, "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" only reached number two) as a solo artist. The song had a working title of "Blue Eyes in Georgia", and was written by Bob Crewe and Kenny Nolan.

It was actually written for The Four Seasons but after the record label refused to release it, Valli bought the rights to the song for $4000. He shopped it around with no initial success, until he found a label that would only record it if his was the only name that appeared on the label.

He agreed and ended up with a tune that went to number one for one week on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in the spring of 1975. It also revived interest in the Four Seasons, who would then go on to have a revival of sorts in the mid-1970s.
7. The Bellamy Brothers scored with "Let Your Love Flow" in 1976. They really were brothers.

Answer: True

Of course they were. Homer Howard Bellamy and David Milton Bellamy came to us from Darby, Florida. They started performing in the late 1960s, and went to California in the 1970. "Let Your Love Flow" was their first major hit. It was originally offered to Neil Diamond after being written by one of his roadies named Larry Williams, but Diamond turned it down.

The Bellamy Brothers took the song to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for a one week stay in the spring of 1976 as well as reaching number seven in the U.K.

While this was their only major success on the Hot 100 charts, they became major country music stars, having a slew of hits on the country charts in the 1980s.

10. Which of these disco queens scored a number one hit with "Ring My Bell" in 1979?

Answer: Anita Ward

Anita Ward was actually a schoolteacher, having earned a degree in psychology, but was dabbling in music and had signed a recording contract. When this song was presented to her, she didn't like it originally, but relented and recorded the song. Good choice.

The song went to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts for a two week stay in the summer of 1979 as well as hitting the top spot in Canada and the U.K. Some unfortunate personal events in Anita's life put a halt to her recording career, and she is essentially known as a one hit wonder.
