Answer: To be sure what I feel

Jack Wagner has been very successful as a popular soap opera actor. He is best known for his roles as Frisco Jones on the soap opera "General Hospital", as well as Warren Lockridge on "Santa Barbara", Dominick Marone on "The Bold and The Beautiful", and Dr. Peter Burns on "Melrose Place".

As a singer, Jack Wagner produced five music albums between 1984 and 2005. His only success as a singer, however, came from his album "Lighting Up The Night" in 1985. From this album, "All I Need" reached number two on the Billboard charts and stayed there for two weeks.
2. Three songs were written to fight hunger in Africa. One was done by British bands and musicians, one by American singers and musicians, and one by Canadian singers and musicians. The British song "Do They Know It's Christmas" was the first of the three songs to reach the Billboard charts. It was written by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure. How should the lyrics to this popular song be filled in? "And the Christmas bells that ring there Are the clanging chimes of doom Well tonight thank God it's them instead of you And there won't be __________ in Africa this Christmas time"

Answer: snow

After seeing a report outlining various statistics and information about the famine in Africa, Irish singer/songwriter Bob Geldof determined that the world should be aware of the severity of the situation in Ethiopia. He came up with a fundraising campaign to sell copies of "Do They Know It's Christmas" to raise money for famine victims in Ethiopia. "Do They Know It's Christmas" stayed at number one in the United Kingdom for five weeks and sold more than three million copies during this period.

In the United States, "Do They Know It's Christmas" would peak at number thirteen on January 19, 1985.
3. Philip Bailey and Phil Collins worked as a duo when they recorded and released the instant hit "Easy Lover". By February 1985, "Easy Lover" peaked at number two on the Billboard charts. According to these popular lyrics, what will the "Easy Lover" do? "Easy lover ________________________ believe it Like no other Before you know it you'll be on your knees"

Answer: She'll get a hold on you

Philip Bailey is one of the long time members of funk/soul band Earth, Wind, and Fire. Bailey has recorded duets with various popular singers including Little Richard, Eric Benet, and Phil Collins. His only success as a solo/duo artist was with Phil Collins singing the hit song "Easy Lover".

The song was included as the theme song for the inaugural Wrestlemania in 1985, and continues to be a success as it has been used for various purposes including being featured in the video game "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories".
4. In March 1985, some of Canada's most notorious singers worked together as the supergroup Northern Lights to record "Tears Are Not Enough". By 1990, this song had raised more than $3 million for the fight against hunger in Africa. The song went to number one on the Canadian Top 40. The opening lyrics were sung by one of Canada's most famous folk singers, Gordon Lightfoot. How should these lyrics be completed? "As every day goes by how _________________ until we open up our hearts we can learn to share and show how much we care"

Answer: can we close our eyes

"Tears Are Not Enough" was one of three major hit songs recorded in 1985 to raise money for those suffering in a widespread famine throughout Africa. The lyrics to the Canadian recording were sung both in English and French (representing Canada's two major languages).

Although the song was used to raise money for Africa, 10 percent of the donations raised were used to support various social assistance programs within Canada as well. "Tears Are Not Enough" touched the hearts of many people worldwide and many of Canada's top singers have been forever remembered because of their powerful voices in the song. Solo performances in the supergroup Northern Lights included Bryan Adams, Burton Cummings, Anne Murray, Dan Hill, and Neil Young.
5. Frankie Goes To Hollywood recorded one of the most controversial songs of 1985 when "Relax" hit the Billboard's. In fact, for a period of time, many DJs in the UK banned "Relax" from being played on the air altogether. How should the opening lines be completed? "Relax don't do it When you want to _________________"

Answer: go to it

Frankie Goes To Hollywood had great success in the United Kingdom and throughout Europe, however, only their hit song "Relax" would top the Billboard charts in North America. British DJ Mike Read announced his distaste for this song in January 1984 and refused to give the song any airtime.

He thought that the lyrics were far too sexual for mainstream radio. The push to stop playing "Relax" was supported by the British Broadcasting Corporation who officially banned the song from the radio. As it turned out, however, banning the song seemed to give other British late night programs the desire to play "Relax". "Relax" went to number one in Britain.

In North America, "Relax" went to number ten when it peaked in March 1985.
6. The third (and final) song to reach great success in the fight against hunger in Africa peaked on the Billboard charts in April 1985. USA For Africa was an American supergroup that sang the popular hit song "We Are The World". How should the following lyrics (sung mainly by Bruce Springsteen) be completed? "We are the world, We are the _____________"

Answer: children

"We Are The World" was specifically recorded to assist victims of the widespread famine in Ethiopia due to a bizarre drought that occurred in 1984-85. The supergroup USA For Africa included many of the United States' top musicians including Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson, Willie Nelson, Tina Turner, Cyndi Lauper, and Diana Ross. "We Are The World" is remembered for being played on April 5th, 1985 (which was Good Friday). Throughout the United States, over 5000 radio stations played the song at the same time in support for the cause to raise money for Africa.

At the 1986 Grammy's, "We Are The World" would go on to win multiple awards including Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Music Video, and Best Pop Performance by Duo or Group. On April 13th, 1985, "We Are The World" went to number one on the Billboard charts and remained there for four weeks.
7. In 1984, the popular movie "The Neverending Story" was released and was successful. The theme song, also titled "The Never Ending Story", was sung by the lead singer of Kajagoogoo (another one hit wonder band). According to the lyrics, where is the answer to the Neverending Story written? "Turn around, look at what you see In her face, the mirror of your dreams Make believe I'm everywhere, living in your eyes Written ______________ is the answer to our Neverending story"

Answer: on the pages

In 1984, the movie "The Neverending Story" went on to be a huge success in North America. In conjunction with the film, the song "The Neverending Story" was also a huge success. Written by popular Italian writer Giorgio Moroder and English composer Keith Forsey, the song reached number six on the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts and peaked at number four on the UK Charts. Unlike most popular songs, it fades in at the beginning of the song and then fades out at the end of the song.

This experiment with the in and out fading gives the listener a sense that the song keeps going, thus, making it a "neverending" song.
8. In June of 1985, a memorable hit song was released containing many samples that depicted the Vietnam War. "19" by Paul Hardcastle, peaked at number fifteen on the Billboard charts that year. The samples for this song were spoken mainly by television narrator Paul Thomas. During various portions of the song, various statistics about the Vietnam War are included in the lyrics. According to the commentary, how many soldiers did the enemy lose? "In Saigon a U.S military spokesman said today more than 700 enemy troops were killed last week in that sensitive border area Throughout all of South Vietnam the enemy lost a total of __________ soldiers"

Answer: 2689

"19" reached number fifteen in the United States and would top the charts in the United Kingdom for five straight weeks. It was written and performed as an informative song about the severe effects of the Vietnam War (specifically, the effects on American and Vietnamese soldiers).

The commentary in the song features various clips from an ABC documentary entitled "Vietnam Requiem" that discussed post-traumatic stress disorder that many soldiers suffered after returning from the war. The meaning of the title, "19", has been disputed by many.

It has been suggested that the title was taken from the average age of an American soldier during the war, which was 19 years old.
9. After the band 10cc went on hiatus in 1984, band members Kevin Godley and Lol Creme formed the music duo of Godley & Creme. Their only hit as a duo "Cry", reached number sixteen on the Billboard charts in October 1985. According to the lyrics, why doesn't the person know how to "play the game"? "You don't know how to play the game ______________________"

Answer: You cheat, you lie

Following their departure from 10cc, Godley and Creme began their journey as a music duo. In 1985, they released the album "The History Mix Volume 1", which included a variety of remixed songs from Godley and Creme's former bands 10cc, Doctor Father, and Hotlegs. On this album, a new release "Cry" became an instant success. "Cry" is best remembered for its music video which was unique at the time of recording.

It was one of the first music videos to include morphing. In the video, various faces change from one to another while miming the lyrics to the song.

This new video technology may have helped the song reach number sixteen in the United States and number nineteen in the United Kingdom.
10. Scritti Politti finished off the year of 1985 one hit wonders with their infamous song "Perfect Way". Though they had some success in their homeland of Wales as well as in the United Kingdom, "Perfect Way", which peaked at number eleven on the Billboard Charts in December 1985, was their only North American hit. How should the chorus to this popular song be completed? "I got a perfect way to make a new proposition, I got a perfect way to make a justification, I got a perfect way to make a certain a maybe, I got a perfect way to ______________________."

Answer: make the girls go crazy

In 1985, Welsh band Scritti Politti released their album "Cupid and Psyche 85" which incorporated a variety of sampling techniques including MIDI. Scritti Politti had limited success during their short tenure as a band. Following this success, the band's frontman Green Gartside became stressed and disillusioned in the music industry.

As a performer, he retired for over two decades, although he worked with various pop artists such as Chaka Khan writing and producing music. In the early 2000s, Gartside delved into the hip hop music scene recording the album "Anomie and Bonhomie", which gained minimal success.

In 2006, in London, United Kingdom, Gartside performed live for the first time in over twenty years with a new group called Double G and The Traitorous 3.
