"Multiplication" was Bobby Darin's Number 30 chart single in 1962. It was his fifteenth US Top Forty single since "Splish Splash" went to Number Three in 1958. The following year he would achieve his first chart topper when "Mack the Knife" reached Number One. Bobby's final Top Forty hit was "Lovin' You" in 1966.
In addition to an impressive recording career Bobby Darin had success in films such as "Come September" (1960) and "Captain Newman, M.D" (1963). He also made several appearances on television shows including "Wagon Train" and "The Red Skelton Show".
He was active in Robert Kennedy's presidential career and had changed to a Folk format before passing away in 1973 at the young age of 37.

Royden Dickey Lipscomb took the professional name Dickey Lee. He began his recording career with the Tampa Records and Sun Records labels. His first success came as a songwriter when George Jones released his composition, "She Thinks I Still Care", in 1962.
Songwriters Barry Mann and Larry Kobler wrote "Patches", which was recorded by Lee for the Smash label and went to Number Six. In 1963 he followed up with the Top Twenty single "I Saw Linda Yesterday" and also had success in 1965 with "Laurie (Strange Things Happen)".
Ray Peterson's 1960 Teen Tragedy song was "Tell Laura I Love Her". "Endless Sleep" was released in 1958 by Jody Reynolds and "Teen Angel" was sung by Mark Dinning in 1960.

Saxophonist John "Ace" Cannon was a friend of Elvis' former bass player Bill Black and toured with him in the fifties and sixties. Cannon recorded "Tuff" using Black's backing band on the same label as Black, Hi Records. "Tuff" was his debut single and also his highest charting single. He followed up with an Instrumental rendition of "Blues Stay Away From Me" that made it to Number 36 in 1962. In 1965 Ace recorded "Ace Cannon Live" combining a live audience in a studio.

Although South Carolina native Brook Benton had many Number One hits on the US Rhythm and Blues charts the closest he came to topping the US Pop charts was the Number Two "The Boll Weevil Song" in 1961. In 1961 The Four Seasons released "Bermuda" on Gone Records. The song failed to dent the charts. Group member Bob Gaudio composed "Sherry" and the band recorded the song before shopping around for a label to sign them. They eventually convinced Vee Jay Records to release "Sherry", which became the group's first Number One single. Frankie Valli was personally responsible for contacting a representative of the label and convincing them to take a chance on the band.
The gamble paid off when the band followed "Sherry" with Number One hits including "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Walk Like A Man".
In 1964 The Four Seasons switched to the Philips Records label and continued cranking out hit songs despite the British Invasion. The group even managed to release hits during the Disco era with "December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)" and "Who Loves You?".

The Angels began their career as The Starlets in New Jersey. The three girls did some backing studio vocals while releasing some local hits. The group went through some membership changes before deciding to quit the music business and continue their eduction. Before disbanding they recorded a version of a song called "'Til" recorded by Shirley Bassey on her 1961 album "Shirley Bassey". They were convinced by producer Gerry Granahan to record and release "'Til" and the song went on to Number 14. They then released a demo they had done for The Shirelles titled "My Boyfriend's Back" and topped the charts.
The Chantels had a 1958 hit with "Maybe". "Quicksand" was a sixties hit from
Martha and The Vandellas. "Reflections" was a hit by The Supremes.

After her string of Dance hits she later teamed up with other Philadelphia artists such as Billy Paul, Teddy Pendergrass, Archie Bell, The O'Jays and Lou Rawls to become part of the Philadelphia International All Stars.

The group had success during the Disco era with "Let's Clean Up the Ghetto" and Dee Dee released her "What Color Is Love" album in 1977 as Dee Dee Sharp Gamble.

The Everly Brothers recorded "Torture" for their 1964 "Gone Gone Gone" album but the recording was not issued as a single.
"Conscience" went to Number 11 for James Darren. "Rumors" was a 1962 Number 12 release by Johnny Crawford. Eddie Holland sang "Jamie" and took it to Number 30 in 1962.
