Phil Collins was an extra in the Beatles movie 'A Hard Day's Night'! He was a 13 years old when he was in it and played a screaming fan. Phil was also in a film called 'Calamity the Cow' when he was 16.

With stage school friends from the Barbara Speake Stage School he formed The Real Thing, before joining Flaming Youth in 1969 along with guitar playing friend Ronnie Caryl.
