Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Michael Wagener:

Answer: Stone Cold Crazy

Released on the 1991 edition of "Sheer Heart Attack" (1974), this remix is quite faithful to the original. Back in their early days, Metallica recorded this song, and they performed it at the Concert for Life, in 1992.
2. Freddy Bastone:

Answer: Seven Seas of Rhye

For reasons probably known only to him, Mr. Bastone took this song and turned it into a dance track!
3. Rick Rubin:

Answer: We Will Rock You

Producer Rick Rubin made this song very edgy. In fact, the remix credit states that it was "ruined by Rick Rubin."
4. Queen, with Joshua J. MacRae and Justin Shirley-Smith:

Answer: Under Pressure

The only remix done by Queen (Actually, it was Brian and Roger), this version (called the "Rah Mix") appeared on "Queen+: Greatest Hits III" (1999). In my opinion, this is a much better version than the original!
5. Susan Rogers:

Answer: Body Language

Somehow, she took this ultra-sexy song and made it hypnotic, too!
6. Junior Vasquez:

Answer: Bicycle Race

Not one my favorites. But I do like the intro to this mix (a cacophony of bicycle bells).
7. Nicholas Sansano:

Answer: Ogre Battle

One of the remixes that sounds far different than the original, this song got transformed into something that (I believe) was supposed to visualize the immensity of your average ogre.
8. R.A.K. and Jack Benson:

Answer: Dragon Attack

Another departure from the original, but one that I like!
9. Brian Malouf:

Answer: Fat Bottomed Girls

This is another remix that stayed fairly true to the original. One of the better ones!
10. Matt Wallace:

Answer: Somebody to Love

All I have to say is that this version outdoes the original (no easy feat). Matt Wallace is also the only person to remix two songs (the other being "You're My Best Friend").
11. John Luongo and Gary Hellman:

Answer: Liar

This standout song from "Queen" (1973) got an update and, for the most part, it worked.
12. Mike Shipley:

Answer: I'm In Love With My Car

This version is louder, rocks harder, and has more engines!
13. Randy Badazz:

Answer: Tie Your Mother Down

What would this song sound like if it were performed live today? Probably like this version, which added reverb to Freddie's voice and cut out most of the guitars in the second verse. My favorite of the 1991 remixes.
14. Wyclef Jean:

Answer: Another One Bites the Dust

Featured in the motion picture "Small Soldiers" (1998), this version appears on "Queen+: Greatest Hits III" (1999). While I know this song has been railed by numerous people, I think it isn't that bad. Not that great, but not bad.
15. Mista Lawnge, 9.5:

Answer: Flash's Theme

How this person nearly doubled the length of this song, I don't know. I recommend it for completist Queen fans (of which I am one).
