Between 1984 and 1992, Paul Young (real name) had five top 40 tunes on Billboard's Hot 100. Two made the top ten: "Every Time You Go Away" at number one in 1985 and "Oh Girl" at number eight in 1990. John Zacherle's novelty number "Dinner With Drac (Part I)" got to number six on the Top 100 list in 1958, and "Silent Lucidity" by Queensryche made number nine on the Hot 100 in 1991 [both were one-hit wonders]. Also at number nine was "Salt Shaker" by Ying Yang Twins in 2003.

Answer: Crazy Little Thing Called Love

Queen was made up of Freddie Mercury (Farrokh Bulsara) who died in 1991, Roger Taylor, Brian May, and John Deacon. From 1975-1984 the group had 12 top 40 songs on the Hot 100. Of the four that made the top ten, two reached number one, both in 1980: "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and "Another One Bites The Dust".

The Youngbloods with "Get Together" (number five in 1969) and Young Dro with "Shoulder Lean" (number ten in 2006) both had one-hit wonders. "Weird Al" Yankovic performed "White And Nerdy" in 2006.

Their only top ten tune was "Harden My Heart" at number three in 1981. In 1965, "Tell Her No" by The Zombies made number six and "Heart Full Of Soul" by The Yardbirds got to number nine. Young-Holt Unlimited's "Soulful Strut" reached number three in 1968.

An English rock band, Yes had multiple personnel changes over the years. From 1971-1988, the group produced six top 40 numbers on Billboard's Hot 100. The Zombies performed "Time Of The Season," a number three song in 1969, Quiet Riot did "Cum On Feel The Noize," a number five in 1983, and Young Jeezy offered "Soul Survivor," a number four song in 2005.

Neil Young (real name) was once a member of Buffalo Springfield and was once a part of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. As a single artist, he had three top 40 tunes on the Hot 100 from 1970-1972. His only top ten melody was "Heart Of Gold" that topped the chart at number one in 1972.

The placements of the other three songs were: Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" at number nine in 1976 and number two in 1992; Zhane's "Hey Mr. D.J." at number six in 1993; and Young Money's "Every Girl" at number ten in 2009.

The Zombies, an English rock band, were comprised of Colin Blunstone, Hugh Grundy, Rod Argent, Chris White, and Paul Atkinson. At number eight in 1984 was "Legs" by ZZ Top. Xscape's "The Arms Of One Who Loves You" made number seven in 1998. In 2008 "Sexy Can I" by Young Berg (with Ray J.) reached number three.

In 1969 (Denny) Zager & (Rick) Evans had a one-hit wonder that also was number one on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, "In The Year 2525".
